Would be nice to sort this out better on the Phil spectrum. Seems like there's a ton of talk about "Torin drinking vodka and yelling at Phil to shut up" but no actual observations of them living in the same space.
Toren and Phil most definitely lived and still live together.
Phil gave up the bedroom to Toren after he guilt tripped him with "Mah disabilities, ir hurts to stand".
Phil was condemned to the couch but choose the lie about it saying it was his choice for better kiwi reaction time.
Around 6 Months into the lease there was a landlord inspection and Toren got found out.
Phil was planning to add Toren to the lease but discovered this would negatively effect BOTH their tard bux and Phil entitlement to rent relief. There was apparently another issue with Toren that worried the landlord and may have required a deposit but sadly no details.
Anyway the plan was to lie.
Toren would lie on social media about moving out and go out more during the day, it's possibly he was crashing with someone else.
Eventually the ruse got boring and they both quit lying until their was an inspection of Phil's fire alarm and got caught by the landlord again.
I know a lot of kiwis joke about perma drunk Toren but that more or less the case. He spends his time either drunk or high or pretending to be. He mostly stays in his room watching Netflix whilst Phil stays in the front room watching Netflix. They rarely interact unless Toren wants someone to pick on.

Chicano/a studies is definitely a real thing. It's basically the study of history, literature, and art based on the Mexican-American experience. And in the southwestern part of the USA (California, Nevada, Arizona) it's a legitimate field of study. But there's no way Phil has taken any kind of university level course on Chicano studies. And of course he'd be stupid enough to think that its some radicalizing force and not just an elective for Latinos who need to fill some liberal arts requirement.
What he means is Chicana feminism or
Xicanisma. It's basically a radical form of feminism based around the supposed low social standing of Hispanic women.
It's taught as "chicana feminism studies" rather than chicana studies because that literally means study of Mexican boys.
And yes my local uni offers said course.
My guess is the landlord basically doesn't care outside of getting his money.
Evicting Phil and Toren would be a hassle, he would have to deal with Phil's tard wrangler and then have to fix the apartment and fill all the holes in the wall.
