Maybe make it into a thread for hovind himself he always seems to do insane things. Wonder if the kid dying in his park will bite him in teh ass some day.
Someone once tried to make Kent a thread but it never made it out of Proving Grounds. The problem with Kent content is that he's mostly been in and out of prison the past decade. It was better like 15 years ago when he'd argue with atheists and published that dissertation (for a "ph.D" from a fake college ran out of a trailer park in the middle of nowhere) that was nothing but bizarre rambling about creationism and demanded evolutionists give him a "Jupiter rock" and other weird shit like that.

Hovind's "doctoral dissertation" is honestly one of the funniest things I've ever read. It literally starts with "Hello, my name is Kent Hovind", and is littered with spelling errors and incorrect scientific nomenclature throughout. You'd think the institution that rewarded him with a doctorate would have given him an advisor to smooth these things out, but it turns out that "Patriot Bible University" is literally just a doublewide situated in the wilderness of Colorado.

I have returned after a long hiatus to dump some updates about Kent Eric Hovind, PhD, B.A.
So, to begin, the court case is finished. It's been dismissed with prejudice (as @GenociderSyo pointed out recently).

So, that being said, this thread should probably be moved.... but, until I figure that part out, here is what is currently going on in Hovind's life that makes him still worth paying attention to:
  1. He is currently undergoing more litigation for
    1. Allegedly body slamming his third ex wife (trying to get original pdfs now), the audio of which can be found here (this is an hour long fever dream made up by his third ex, but the recording starts at 5:36 -- archived version coming soon)
    2. Allegedly stealing tens of thousands of dollars from this third ex wife
  2. He currently is housing a friend of his named Chris Jones (a convicted pedo). This isn't weird, because Kent has always been friends with Chris Jones (clip of a person Kent tried to convince to befriend Chris Jones, but they refused because they are sane -- archived version coming soon). What's weird is that now his "legal" "advice" giving "friend" Brady Byrum has turned out to have had some untoward relationships with those many too few trips around the sun.
So, basically, Kent Hovind now has two friends he is protecting who have, uh.... depraved tendencies (1 convicted and the other accused).

There is currently a young boy who was last seen at Dinosaur Adventureland and there is a lot of online speculation that this boy was last seen with Brady Byrum. I don't give this a lot of clout, because there is no talk about this young boy missing outside of the Hovind haters, which seems odd because according to the version of the story even the detractors tell, the boy's parents knew he was previously with Brady, meaning if he was still with Brady, he would have been found by now.

A gentleman by the name of Mark Stoney (a newly reformed Hovind detractor) has put it upon himself to expose the depraved crew being protected by Hovind, so thing should get even more interesting from here!

Moved where? This is the subforum for this case (though this thread should be locked). But if you want to make a general thread on Kent, make a thread on him Proving Grounds.

yeah, I guess I wasn't clear on that. I agree that it wouldn't make sense to "move" this thread, but this exact case is a huge part of what makes Kent interesting, so if I do make a thread, I'll just copy the OP and some other posts people have added. Unfortunately, all of the other interesting parts of Kent's life are documented in such a way it would take very long time to compile (his creation stuff is the least interesting thing about him), but I will make a thread if the Mark Stoney stuff goes anywhere.

I think I will give it a go. In fairness, other than his dissertation, his creation stuff is amazingly boring (it's by far the least interesting thing about him). When he was raided and sent to prison the first time, the IRS seized only 1 out of his 7 DVDs that he sold -- and it was the only one that wasn't about creation. It was called "Redeeming the Straw Man," about how to declare yourself a sovereign citizen who is no longer a citizen of the United States but is able to live there without paying taxes somehow.

His bizarre beliefs surrounding taxes, freedom, and how to hide crimes and criminals are what makes him so entertaining for sure.

He has a series about his odd beliefs in non-creation stuff called special topics:
"Special Messages How To Make Money & Spend It God's Way"
"Special Messages The Bible & Health"
"Special Messages School Ideas"

The strawman one is on youtube, but he has pulled it from his site now.

There is also this website with a lot of info about things he's done including the child who drowned at his new dinosaur land post jail:

His site may help with making an OP.
