So my answer would be yes, just not in the way we'd seemingly all think.

It's more then likely Tom has been wrapped up in his bullshit for so long he can no longer tell what's real and what's a lie.

He chimps exrta hard when we show conclusive proof that he's wrong on something, more so when it's his own words thrown back at him.

Yeah, though I also wouldn't rule out his body shutting down either. The guy is 60 but looks at least 90, and that's just the cherry on the icing. He sharts himself uncontrollably and can't smoke weed without COPD fits, vomits at weird times, can't even play instruments properly, even look at how he walks.

My point is more that this, combined with the aforementioned mental rot, is doing one hell of a number on him.

I doubt it's just the early stages. He has to be pretty far in. When my grandfather was in his final years, his dementia made him say grandiose things like he was a center player for the Toronto Maple Leafs. And we all know what Tom likes to do, proclaim himself as a Grammy Winner, a licensed marine biologist, etc. It's even evident in his posts here where he contradicts himself twice, maybe three times IN THE SAME SENTENCE.

I wouldn't be surprised if I'm wrong but I don't think Tommy ever said that he's a Grammy winner. He's always said that he's a marine biologist so that's nothing new. The various "respected artist" claims are understandable when you remember how much time he spent with gross wannabe-hippies drugged out of their minds. I don't think he talks himself up because he believes any of it but rather because he thinks it makes his opinions more respectable. Nobody is going to accept a disgusting hobo claiming that it was fine to rape a dog because she begged for it, but in his long lost crusty circle he might've thought they would accept it from a biologist.
