Well I'm currently not sweeping anything because there is nobody at the campus and nothing to do. Also I'm not just owning the cons because I'm a janitor, but because I'm a janitor who makes a living wage, has weekends off, and can take vacations.
 
i feel like you’d make more as a small business cleaning and organizing houses. i know someone that charges $250 for cleaning a 3 bedroom home in 2 hours
 
The people who care about what job you MUST have are your parents if they're education helicopter parents, and school administrators who want all their students to become super cool STEM students and Lawyers to brag about how smart & successful their students who graduate are (as a shorthand, not that they're actually smart or successful). I agree with others, take peace and don't worry about rubbing it in someone else's face.


If you tell a woman/man who you're trying to date what job you do, you can say "It's nothing glamorous, I do custodial work and keep a place running clean. It's not too stressful, pays a good wage, and even gives me benefits." It's a good way to introduce the job without humblebragging or giving an exact dollar amount (since you're not supposed to do that with people unless you have a close relationship with them).


That's all I got to say anon. Be good to yourself and don't pick fights with people who aren't worth your time.

I make a living wage. Conservatives don't want me to make a living wage. 40k a year is plenty to live off of if you have no kids or college debt.

Yeah, but you're never going to care for kids when making 40-50k a year. That's the issue. Your costs in life will grow rapidly.

I don't know what conservatives have to do with this. They're likely to support manual labor more than any leftist.
