Apparently Young Guardian's suit causes radiation poisoning to people exposed to his epicness, causing the whole school to be closed. At least that's my interpretation of Pilot Epic 2: page 2. I'm starting to have ideas for my own "fan" work where this little detail will be rather important.

It's never made clear whether this is just Dark Guardian messing with Young Guardian's head; but knowing Jay it's probably correct and Jay thinks radiation poisoning could be cured by a medkit or a bottle of pain pills...
