The price point is a deterrent for me because they're cutting content to sell back to you. I can relatively tolerate anything else since I'd have to judge the game itself as is.
I'm not shocked there's not a physical release. This is a good title to test the you will own nothing and be happy with it. I'm hoping this will be the E.T. to caused the new video game crash. It will be mediocre at best. Guess we will see come Novmber unless they delay it again.
It won't flop, anyone saying it will is delusional. Doubtful that it will make enough money to be profitable due to how long it's been in development tho, remember that GTA5 was the most expensive game of it's time and no doubt GTA 6 will break that record again.
Since it won't flop, the anti-consumer practices that the game sets forward will also be normalized, which is a good thing.

As if this will have any impact on the sales of this game, and as long as the people buy the slop, why should the company not keep selling the slop? They make how much each year selling ingame cash for GTA Online?
i'm pretty sure 5 did that. the version they released on PC was the "Enhanced" next-gen edition which not only included everything from the original special edition, but you actually got more things specific to next-gen.

People ITT really sweep for T2 in Current Year +10 over a game that has announced it will attempt to price them out of fully playing it, hasn't shown a single bit of gameplay, and might not even release on their platform.

I can see one issue is that the last GTA came out so long ago that this wasn't a thing yet, and they therefore have a lot of consumers who never bothered to get a proper Internet connection and just use the Internet on their phone.
