Dang, i knew planarcadia was uninspired but Star Rail releasing literal costume alts is really unexpected. Is it unfair to call star rail gacha slop now? >New battle pass weapons
-Catalyst: Low atk high crit rate; Casting skill gives 20% atk and 100 em for 6s, charge atk increases duration by 6s, with 12s cd. Usable on varesa, Wrio, nefer and klee.
-Spear: mid atk mid ER. Proccing a cryo or hydro reaction gives 20% atk and 6 energy to everyone else other than wielder with 16s cd. Sorry but this just sounds like a worse favonius?
-Claymore: low atk high crit rate. Gives 10s buff random buff of 20% atk / 120 em / 32% stellar dmg. Doing stellar locks that buff for 12s. Good stellar stick for sandrone but easy to overcrit.
-Bow: low atk high crit rate: For every member of the same nation on the team, gain 8% atk and 32 em, up to 3. Finally, the racist paid bow that no one asked. I guess fischl and a few can use it well.
-sword: low atk high crit rate: Casting skill gives a buff for 14s that gives atk% based on distance moved. There is no swordie who fights while moving so this must be for someone nw, like Vesna.
Kinda meh weapons.

-Bow: mid atk mid defense. Using skill gives 120 em for 12 seconds. I guess Linea for a nice f2p stick if you hated slingshot.
-Catalysy: High atk low atk%. Doing reaction gives 60 em and increases stellar dmg by 16% for 12s. It works off field, meaning this is obviously a free weapon for yae miko, but idk if it's beating widsith.
-spear: high atk low EM. Doing a reaction restore 4 energy every 9s and Stellar damage increased by 20%, and works off field. This must be designed for a future stellar subdps, could it be the tsarista? If refines lower the ER cd it's kinda busted.
-claymore: High atk low atk%. Trigger reaction to get 64 EM and 16% stellar damage, works off field. Good free stick for your sandrone.
-sword: mid atk mid EM. Trigger reaction to get 16% atk and 16% stellar dmg, works off field.
tl;dr: Linea got a defense+em bow. catalyst, all other weapons give stellar dmg with atk/em, but the spear gives energy.
The kits already leaked so i'll clarify, there are only 2 stellar reactions in the game: Stellar condcut and stellar swirl. There is no other stellar reaction. This is not like lunar where there are 3.

-His skill fires a gun and marks an enemy, his burst summons a dog to attack enemies from off field for 14s.
-When his burst attacks the marked enemy, he gives 14-25%? atk buff and heal.
-He convers ER into burst dmg and buffs 25% stellar conduct dmg.
-C1 is energy. C2 is +6s of burst. C4 is more heal. C6 doubles his buffs and gives +100 em.
Alyosha is another 4* who needs c6 to pop off, but if he stays like this then he's surprisingly good. The stellar dmg bonus is great already but 50%~ atk and 100em for the whole team is universally good. At c6 he is much stronger than Qiqi (rip qiqi, you didn't last one patch).

-Cryo traveler enables stellar conduct and stellar swirl! WHOA!
-Skill spawns a thing that shoots ice crystals automatically at range for 12/15s. If traveler atks, if fires with him.
-Burst does stellar conduct OR stellar swirl damage depending on reaction and +2 hits after your skill hits 8 times.
-A1 gives him free cryo infusion on skill and scaling bonus. A4 gives 160 em at 2000 atk.
-Traveler super charge atk counts as stellar damage and he buffs 7% base stellar at 2000 atk.
-C1 i s 5 energy when he deal steal damage (but its only burst and charge so its too slow). C2 gives the active character 60 em and 120 when they do stellar dmg. c4 gives +3s of skill. C6 gives the team 40% stellar dmg.
The day has finally come where traveler is actually useful. His damage should be garbage and he's not really top tier, but assuming his skill range and application isn't garbage, his kit doesn't have any notable flaw and he even has free infusion and 100% skill uptime. That would be enough but enabling stellar also gives him a lot of value for beginners and people who want to use cyno/wrio without a premium enabler. (EDIT: It's unclear if the skill auto fire is disabled when traveler is enhanced, if it is then this kills him as an enabler as he would have no cryo aplication)

-Odete is a subdps who enables both stellar conduct and stellar swirl and buffs both by 1.14x at 2000 atk.
-Odete skill has two modes that are hard to undrstand. I think you tap once and she summons a reflection that does automatic aoe attacks that follow you, and if you tap again she does a dance for bigger damage and ends it. Both count as stellar dmg.
-Odete's burst isn't stellar but gives her a stellardmg buff and resets her skill (so you can do the stronger skill and burst).
-Odetes passives give her more damage. C1 is more damage but C2 gives 20% shred to cryo+elec or cryo + anemo.
-Odete sword is high atk low crit rate, gives 8% atk when skill hits enemy, then at 3 stacks gives 40% stellar crit dmg and stellar reaction givs 4 energy every 3.5s. (weird, she doesn't seem burst reliant).
Odete is a stellar enabler and subdps and thats it. She is very valuable if you want to play wrio/cyno at max level but at the same time, she doesn't do anything outside that, so she's kinda like stellar colbumbina... But if she is the stellar enabler, then what the hell is the tsaritsa going to do? Main dps?
There are 2 new sets too. One is stellar support set that gives 2pc ER and 4pc 50% stellar dmg to the team, and the other is a stellar swirl set that gives... exactly the same as stellar conduct set. That's... very lazy. It's actually awful for someone like Odette needs to farm two different sets in order to be played in different teams. I guess natlan was too generous for letting me farm one single domain set for a year.
Unrelated but if you're a wrio main then you're screwed cause there his stellar playstyle forces him to drop below 60% so he can't use alyosha and there is no good stellar shielder yet.
Trailblazer doesn't count because some people play as Stelle

Used my guarantee on Sandrone. Decided I might as well pull for Citlali since I couldn't get her last time, finally got lucky and managed to pull her before my remaining primos ran out. Fuck yeah.
I do not mind 4.X being SP heavy. Out of the big budget 3D Chinese gachas, HSR is the only one I like story wise, and a huge part of that is that there is actually a recurring, stable cast of characters. You have the Astral Express, the Stellaron Hunters, the Xianzhou higher ups, the Geniuses, etc. It feels much more cohesive (though Granblue Fantasy feels the most). HSR also actually has a party to follow. As opposed to Genshin/WuWa which have the non-character MC and his muppet going through different girl of the week episodes where most characters are left behind and never show up again after their arc.
With all of the strength of willpower, I managed to withhold pulling on Sandrone for all of however long it took to do dailies. Then I pulled her weapon. I am broke. Will suck dick for primos.

Leakers said planarcadia would have a lot of SP for the fan favourites and people kept justifying that by saying this absolute lazyness by saying that "it's better to develop characters than bring new useless ones, the SP shows growth and always has plot reason" but that was always a shitty fallacy and kinda sketchy.
People bring Daniel, evernight, sparxie etc as excuses which is okay but we were already getting some sketchy choices (did dan heng really need a third form that only exists in amphoreus?). It's very obvious that the characters who are getting SPs are the popular ones who get pushed by the devs, they will make up the excuses to justify them.
And then robin and aventurine kinda shat on that excuse completely. Star rail is just making costume alter as playable units now. The answer is greed, just like how 4* went extinct.
This opens the floodgates for retarded shit like Sexy Santa Kafka and [Bride dress March 7]. Oh god, sunday was leaked to have an SP too meaning that we will probably get summer sunday soon...
Anyones, genshin maintenance is over so its time.
Good news:
-Sandrone is secured. Her skill is like mizuki hover but only 4s cd so she has full uptime. Reminder that the hover moves you automatically and restores stamina while you use it, but you can also dash with it to burn stamina and move much faster. You also stay at same altitude so you can cross gaps. Overall excellent exploration unit.
-I only did her trial but Sandrone's playstyle is really fun. You see, i'm not like other girls who got sandrone cause she is pretty, i actually got sandrone cause she plays like neuvilete. But she is kinda different cause you MUST hold the entire thing, you can't release early like neuvi (who skips the animation), you hold until 3 bangs then skill and hold again.
-Sandrone can technically spam her charge and recharge with skill with no issues whatsoever. She has no downtime whatsoever and that's part of the reason why her C1 is garbage (it gives her +1 beam but this doesn't really change the rotation). This means she is pretty good for coop (not for now cause there is no way the others are swapping off their sandrones so i can use mine)
-I got c6 fremenite baby

-Her skill only recharges 1 particle it seems. I know the cd is low but still, i think it should've been 2.
-Freminet is so garbage holy shit i forgot how godawful he is, even for a 4*, you have to work hard to make a unit this bad.
I think Golden Troupe stacked for EM. No clue on weapon, I've just got her holding a Skyward Atlas because I'll be damned if I can afford giving her her weapon.
I've heard that there's drama in that w*man gacha Love and Deep Space. There was an upcoming character and he made chinese w*men sneed so hard, that the company had to cancel and scrap him completly just a week before his supposed launch. Now chinese fans sneed celebratory and western fans just sneed. Does anyone have any insight on what did he do to make them chinese w*men so mad?
P.S. on the advice of my sensitivity consultant, since there are women on the farms, I should mention that terms woman and w*man are not interchangeable in my vocabulary.
