Take it with a grain of salt since leaks (ahem lohen) aren't fully to be trusted nowadays but maaan if true that is fucking brutal. Cassie barely lasted a year before she got kicked out of the fotm shill meta.

Genshin beta hit v4 and yae, wrio and cyno got their stellar damage buffed and the reaction changed again so stellar hits give a full stack. This means character who do stellar stellar are more dependant on it and those who do stellar damage are worse (beidou rip).
Sandrone for example is much more dependent on yae now and yae is looking less like temporary bait/cope and more like the intended final best in slot which is making a lot of people very upset cause they don't want to roll a 4 year unit. Even funnier, yae cons are much better than sandrone's so you get more by investing on her. Yae's c2 is especially strong now, being free 200 em for her + on fielder (on top of turret buff).
If genshin was actually generous i would roll on yae but i can't justify the risk. Getting 2 people in one patch is so scary. With all my savings i have around 200 rolls and sandrone + yae can easily take +300 and if Yae is in that fake chronicled wish then losing the 50/50 won't carry the guarantee i might have wasted +100 rolls on a qiqi...

If you are rolling for Sandrone AND rolling on a chronicle banner for her "dedicated" support the patch before the new region you are unironically NGMI.
Not sure what you mean but if you want sandrone but no Yae you can wait for the inevitable stellar support but she might feel underwhelming till there.

It's kinda of a monkey paw situation. People want old units buffed to meta viability but hoyo will only do that if they can actually sell them again, which will be by making new units want them. See how star rail handles it's buffs (buff sparkle for sparxie etc)
They buffed the klee and albedo but they didn't become super top tier nor get a rerun so it didn't improve their sales. Then again, the big hex push was Varka and they don't work with him so maybe hoyo felt wasn't worth it anyway.
But here it feels like Yae was hyper buffed and the reaction made more restrictive so they can sell her rerun, even if it hurts sandrone team options. Escofier and nicole were decent fillers but they're thrash now). It's all very artificial and contrived and will age worse than lunar.
Assuming stellar will follow the pattern of lunar, we will probably get a stellar conduct support that buffs Sandrone (and enables cyno/wrio)... But yae benefits from them too so the best stellar conduct team will use all 3 and probably cryo archon later.
The irony is that a lot of people are upset not with this restriction but cause they are extremely against the idea of rolling an old unit for meta before a new version, even tho yae IS being set up to be meta. They would have to make 3 different stelar conduct supports with more damage than her (beating ineffa right now) to replace her and the tsaritsa can probably be used elsewhere.

What did you lose to? If it was mavuika's claymore then it's not that bad. That thing is pretty usable on any atk scaling on fielder. If i knew it would come back with lohen's spear i wouldn't have gambled on emilie's spear...
That's kinda the issue lol. Herta was fine but nowadays the concept of erudition is meaningless when every team has with very competent AoE damage on top of bigger single target damage or an array of utility. Dot and break teams too.
She also needs a second erudition and got no upgrades to this day. Anaxas' passive is worse with 2 erudition and he is better as a carry, Himeko Nova is forced to play with astral express and Rin is the designated archer's partner.
At this point the only hope is for argenti and jade to get buffed.

i was going for mavuika's weapon, finally ended up getting it but it took around 70 more pulls. i tried getting the claymore last time it ran too but lost my 50/50 to emilie's weapon then

Ouch, if you don't have emilie then her weapon is big cope. I'm on that cope.
Lohen's spear is technically very strong (40% damage to full kit + 30% with 2 hex) but there aren't many users as you have to weave normal/charge with skill/burst. Cyno can use it, i think hu tao technically if her bleed counts as skill damage. Flins can he doesn't want dmg bonus. Xiangling snapshots so if you use skill before burst she gets full value. I dont think raiden can use it.
Not great but could be worse. If you don't have any 5* dps spear it's at least a good crit stick.
btw they added the miliastra "event" urgh.
If you hate miliastra and never touched it but want the gems, i recommend searching and adding these 4 stages to you favourite list. These include 2 popular quick games and 2 filler daily games where you just open a chest and win.
BTW: When you pick the manekin i recommend the default white and blue starter outfit because that's actually a paid exclusive one and the other ones aren't. (hoyo works in mysterious ways)
Genshin playtime shows your playtime (allegedly, it might be wrong?). It only requires you to wait 30 seconds, then press esc and abandon the stage to "win". Apparently i have 2100 hours...
Dps test dummy++ is ez, you just pick a team, go talk to the npc in the middle of the arena to start the test and the corner icon turns green, then you press U or click there to win.
Those 2 count as "popular levels" and will tick the primogen box, there is a second box that asks you to finish 3 stages. That's what the daily win ones are for, you just open the chest and it ends. These types of games tend to be removed when the patch ends cause hoyo deems they low effort but people make new "daily X" again.
Both the battlepass, free skin and this event want you to play 2-3 miliastras per day and i really do not like or understand why hoyo thinks this is a good idea. I didn't start this epic open world rpg so i could spend more time playing mobile slop inside it.
i don't but i've been using it on escoffier so that one wasn't so bad. i have no one that can use lohen's and no plans to ever pull him so this loss stings quite a bit more
i don't actually regret it though, my mavuika dps went up around 45k compared to WGS
