I'm not going to deny that there are some aspects of WuWa that are better than Genshin, but why is it that people on Twitter keep comparing the two ad nauseum? The Cyberpunk collab looks great but what's the point? What will these guys do when a future game inevitably comes out that does something better than WuWa and then it gets compared to all of a sudden? It's very fascinating how I don't seem to see a lot of tribalism unlike on Twitter.

Why wouldn't they compare them ad nauseum? They are near identical games. Same open world design. Same model of almost everyone being a limited banner character that costs 80 or 90 pulls for 160 premium currency per pull and you get 5 primos or astrites from hiking across the huge open world and opening a chest. Weapon banner. Same exact relic system with RNG substats so you will waste all of this time and never hit BIS on your characters. Same nonsense of hitting your character's cooldowns and switching to the next one. Same minigame events. Same time attack endgame with HP inflation that slowly invalidates earlier characters you bought. Same setup of playing some extremely powerful ancient amnesic non-character who is accompanied by a little cute fairy thing that speaks for you. It is almost exactly the same bloody game with subtle differences (one game is almost exclusively releases female characters while the other "only" has a 2:1 ratio. One game has a photorealistic art direction for the environments. Etc).

The most significance difference is that WuWa gives you twice as much of the premium currency per patch as Genshin does, and WuWa does not have rigid team comps yet like Genshin does from Natlan onwards.

Don't know why a good chunk of WuWa players act like they're better than other gacha players when, as you've said, its basically two cheeks of the same ass. It's not that hard to shut up and just play your game.

Shits kinda retarded even for me(i play wuwa). Ive always seen genshin and wuwa as 2 sides of the same coin. It boils down to what kinda of open world gacha flavor you want to play.

Redownload star rail just to get blade again. Had no idea i would get a fire halo thing for free. You can even wear it with hats (i have no hats) and make trailblazer like one of those guys in multiplayer games who combine a bunch of overpriced cosmetics with no sense of style.

New Blade released?

New blade form in star rail, "Mortenax Blade". They made him shirtless bandaged and everyone is thirsting.

Gameplaywise he is very very strong. His skill costs hp and no sp, hits everyone + bounces, his burst sets up a field that appears in the turn count (think robin burst) and gives enemies defense + vulnerability debuff when they're hit. While the field is set, ally attacks give him stacks that let him follow up and he can still gain energy and burst within the burst for big damage. His E1 applies universal 20% shred and prolongs thefield when he does the FUA. E2 makes so all team mates burst count as follow ups and more stuff. His cone gives a fuckton of hp, 30% crit dmg for team + 30 for him and 20 energy so he can burst on match start.

He is Acheron's best partner now since he powercreeps jiaoqiu in all aspects but he's good on fast follow up teams and generally a good flex sup+subdps. His main downside is that you NEED a healer cause unlike base blade he can't actually use skill without enough health and there aren't many good f2p cones for him other than tutorial that is on high demand.

Visually his field is a bunch of swords on the floor and his skill rains swords so yeah, Blade stole Archer's unlimited blade works.

I waited until near the end of the Ashveil banner when we got more leak confirmation about the male team and Mortenax's kit before pulling Ashveil and committing. Now I have Mortenax and they synergize VERY well with each other. Pretty much anything that happens to one or they do will juice up the other. Ashveil is very fragile but Mortenax can taunt and is very hard to kill, so you can just place them on opposit ends of the team. Now just the wait for Aventurine SP, and whoever will be the fourth party member.

My only complaint about this team thus far is that there is not a lot of variety in animations. You are pretty much just going to see Ashveil's followup attack and ult, and then Mortenax's skill and ult. That's it. I have been spoiled by the Phainon and Castorice teams where there were more abilities to look at from the characters.

Wow. Every time they reran Robin, I never was able to get her. Now it gave me an item to redeem her from the shop of rejects. I had to quit the game to get her. How ironic.

Guess I'm spending the golden gear selector on her. Scratch that, the set it gives I don't think goes with her (I'm pretty sure there's better options than Musketeer and Fleet of the Ageless).
