I get that people are upset about the opaqueness of FIFA. That hasn't changed under Infantino. There are probably thousands of ways officiating and rules could be handled better. That's not to FIFA's advantage. The opaque / oblique rules and rulings are a feature to them.

Shouldn't have been sent off them. Belgium has every right to complain, they have been preparing for a USA team without their best player and now suddenly a day before the match all that preparation is null and void because FIFA decided to bend the rules in one of the hosts' favour.
Have you not been watching England's Premier League for the last few seasons? Often takes,VAR three or four minutes to decide on an incident. The ref has to decide instantly on an incident. VAR should have a time limit to review, say 20 seconds, after which, if they haven't decided, should go with the initial decision.
Good to see England hoofing the ball out of defence, and were then able to reorganise their defensive line against Mexico. So many other World Cup games have seen teams unsuccessfully try to play the ball out from their penalty area, and getting caught in possession (take note Scotland)

I’ve heard that too, but everything I’ve heard has it where it’s mostly just rumors at least, or having CONCACAF sides be in Copa Libertadores at most.
Honestly, the one thing I’ve heard is that Infantino and FIFA will probably have even more beef with UEFA.
