S5 was good but was held back from greatness because it didn't have a good host. Sam was phoning S4 in because the cast was so bad. He has said that he hated being in the S2 house because the cast was so cringe, S4 cast was 10x worse than that. If Jet can keep a casting style like S5 I think Sam would be a good host.

Maybe make him primary host and bring on James Drake to co-host so Sam can retreat to the basement when he's not up to performing.

i am still mad that freddy and dirench were wasted in such an awfull season, they had so much potential

The cast aside from those two was such dogshit. Every season has at least one or two wastes of space, but man, S4 was something else. Dirench would've 100% won, hands down. She was a strong competitor, always down for anything. Freddy was a walking liability, despite being very entertaining.

i am definitely on team "leave sam out" , he is getting more washed up by the day and i don't think he has any deep interest in comedy anymore.
he is just gonna make the show more deppressing and low energy
I get why people want him back on the show but I actually don't like it when one person dominates the entire space, be it Rachel or Sam. I thought it would've been cool if they had done what I thought they were gonna do in S5 and just have Sam pop up on the indian mobilebot.

Edit: I also think S5 was good in that it didn't have (almost) any of the retards come back aka Ricky Berwick, Fatty, etc. even if I hated Dumbgay.

The S4 cast was honestly one of the better casts. Aside from Freddy and Dirench, it had Rachel, who supplied hate content for the first week; Daniel, who served as the trollable autist (Landon 0.5); and Aryeh, who would be involved in most of S4 conflicts. It's only real problem was too many nontent fans (Jin, Angie, Seth, Ellie), but at least they would usually end up fighting with eachother over bull shit.

In S2, almost half the cast left in like 1 and a half week, leaving Jimmy to become the sole source of content/conflict untill Frank.
In S3, everyone but Burt and Alex were nontent post gaslite (evident by the immediate dropoff after Alex left) and would end up becoming cancers in the community if they stuck arround.
In S5, beside the final 4, only Vicky and JD were memorable (for being hated) and the only actual conflict was between Drake and Bashir fighting for who would become the defacto leader of the autists.

Only S1 has an objectivley better cast than S4, and that was likely becasue the Wiggers still cared

Ill take the hard stance that sam tries to be entertaining on fishtank, not funny. S4 was an anomlay in that there was some greater vision that was never realized. Ill counter that with how many of us were still clocked in watching regardless, because he had a plan TM. If you cant appreciate the kino of "who can create the best weapon?" before the cops raid the basement well thats on you.
Drench was lame as fuck dude
YEHA OAKY SO MY BROTHER IS A MUSLIM TERROIST WHO STABBED PEOPLE WHO CARES IM A STRAPPAH!
She definitely had that dog in her to win, she was scrappy as hell BUT I just dont like her. Simple as.

All of the seasons suffer from wigger ineptitude, just like with the S3 post-gaslight portion. It felt like they planned everything up to the gaslight but not a second longer. I guess my problem with 4's cast is that out of the entertaining archetypes it had, there was a better version of in another season. Like you said about Daniel, he literally is just Landon version 0.5; Landon is almost entirely the same guy but way funnier and actually likeable. Aryeh is/was an autistic crybully that demanded the room's attention, just like Jimmy, but Aryeh just wasn't as entertaining as Jimmy. It was fun to hate on Rachel, but her schtick grew tiresome really quickly. Ellie and Angie just felt like simpbait, but they weren't half the simpbait that Josie was. The others were such nontent that it's hard for me to think of an entertaining moment for. Jin's r9k comment was funny, but other than that his creepiness turned me off. Seth was funny as the wigger, but normal Seth sucked ass.

I blame S2's nontent on Covid, since everybody was sick and miserable, which led to everybody leaving. If Jimmy wasn't there, the show probably would have died.

S5? It's hard for me to say. I can remember a lot of moments with most of the cast, but that might just be recency bias.

I also think that S1 had a more memorable cast, but that might also be because it was the first season.

Sam always did thrive on controversy. You could see it during parts of S3 and S4 when he suddenly became a hell of a lot more motivated.

As for the wokies, they're diminished, but far from defeated. And they're deeply entrenched in blue state institutions, especially in places like New England. They just can't cancel and effectively deplatform dissidents like they used to in the 2010's.
never said they were defeated, just that they're not the enemy they used to be. Sam needs a new Lena Dunham type foe, somebody that if he met in a dark alley way it would become a self defense situation for sure, somebody he'd have to box their head in if they crossed paths.

Also all the chatter about Da'Wrench misses the point, she looks like a cross between the exorcist girl and an animatronic from chuck e. cheese, plus she has silly accent and is a stripper, like Direnc is Bashir tier in terms of struggling to believe a person like this actually exists. That said nothing will ever be able to top Aryeh moping around in the gimp suit, the latex feet squelching off the hardwood floors is still one of the greatest moments in tank history

In time, one will come along if Sam keeps doing what he's doing. But it doesn't seem like he's generating the crazy outrage that he used to.

like just look back at "The Truth About iDubbz" and how perfect that was, genuinely great. Sam is at his best when he's trolling, but who's he trolling meow? nobody, he needs to get back under the bridge.

Lots of parts of Rhode Island are "theres probably an underground rave hosted here at night" in the Providence metro area. I can see this working in a warehouse, don't have worries about Karens if they are in the areas I'm thinking of.

cuz she's Aussie

That was probably the bigget problem with season 4, a lack of identity. Still, I think it's derivatives were passable, especially since we had Freddy and Direnc who were pretty unique. S4 also had no quitters (aside from Rachel) , which made the one elimination chalenge they had actually competitve.
ll of the seasons suffer from wigger ineptitude
True, but S4 suffered from production the most, even ignoring the fact that it shut down half way through. The contrast between how many bits the wiggers would give members of the S5 cast compared to the S4 cast was insane.

Even though this led to way fewer memorable moments, the few moments it did have didn't have the same scripted feeling as parts of S5 and Late S3; Dan's attempts at 'mogging' jet because he was actually sperging werea lot more real and funny to me than Jet and Ben basiclly letting Landon ironically mog them for content (something he would be too cowardly to do if given genuine pushback).
