I actually disagree, and I have mentioned this particular crime before. People seem to look at it like it's ripping off mattress tags or some similar nonsense, but the Postmaster General does not. This is one of the few actual concrete crimes which is completely unambiguous and if she fucked with the mail in any way, that's a serious crime, and the sort that is actually prosecuted because there are no political implications whatsoever. It's quite simply did you do it? Then you're guilty.
And then you look at something like this. If you think about it for a minute or two, you realize that by bringing a charge of something like date rape against someone like this, you're making a strong political statement that yes, women can rape, too. Who the fuck do you think is going to do that, no matter how true it is?
