Having to remind this community not to feel any shame for their actions is like reminding a fish to swim. The defining characteristic of the ebegging community, moreso even than scamming, poor financial choices and even poorer diets, is the inability to feel even an ounce of shame.

Cross posting because the last four posts there are mine. One of my favorite lolcows, Kiva Bay, has lived off begging for more than 10 years.
She recently quit her job in February. She has managed to get her rent paid for nonetheless. In addition, she’s begged for Diet Coke, cat litter, frozen pizza and weed. All of which she’s gotten.
She recently almost got evicted because she hoarded her apartment out. She took the opportunity to beg for more groceries and Diet Coke. But those pesky streaming services ate into her money.

Yeah I remember her, she moved from Greensboro NC to "escape a transphobic red state" to Long Beach, California. North Carolina is definitely conservative in certain areas, mostly rural, but it's considered a purple state. Greensboro is quite liberal and also has a majority black population. But of course she had to move cross country to one of the most expensive areas of the US and begs for like $1000 a week just for her hotel.

I could've sworn I had screencapped some of that, but I either actually didn't or misplaced them somehow. There was a whole campaign on BeggarSky for Britt to be saved by moving to a blue state with no other support system whatsoever. Because that one small detail would solve everything. Just means same shit, different trees outside.
