DC Comics Multimedia General - A crisis of infinite fuck ups

Thank you for the in depth post. I might end up watching it, just because you vouched for it. Good to know the CW managed to make at least one DC show that wasn’t completely garbage.

No offense to the people that liked Arrow, and Flash. But I don’t get how people weren’t repulsed by the bad writing, and obnoxious, in your face, propaganda of the whole CW DC universe . Batwoman, and Supergirl being absolute low points for DC as a whole.

Well the early episode of the first two were decent for TV at the time, remember Netflix hadn't gone all in on making TV shows yet so we didn't have a lot to compare them to and the casts were good. The early episodes of Arrow where he was straight up killing the people from his father's list were different from everythimg else on broadcast tv. Also the ones where Barry and Oliver worked together were fun.

I wouldn't go back and rewatch them but at the time they were not the worst way to kill time if like a lot of people all you had was broadcadt tv.

Once I finally got internet at my house I saw Netflix Daredevil and that broke the scale I rate this shows on and I can't go back to the CW.

Then they both realize they will have to sit across from each other at Thanksgiving dinner and shudder.
It'd be pretty funny if Kara and Lena actually got together and Superman gets the widest grin on his face when telling Lex his sister is fucking his cousin.
I mean, Lex is already Superman’s baby momma and owes child support, would Kara fucking his sister really change the dynamic that much.

I hadn't joined Reddit yet, but I remember hearing Arrow's fourth season was so critically panned (as in even the diehard fans fucking hated it), the Arrow subreddit temporarily turned into a Netflix Daredevil subreddit.

I can vouch for that, I think WB told the producers eight episodes in that they couldn't use some of the characters who were part of the big plot arc that season so the writers had to throw together a new plot episode by episode and it sucked so hard, even by CW standards.

Gunn knows how to write non girl boss female characters (Nina and Mantis), he ran a yearly poll of the sexiest superheroes, and saw Captain Marvel fail at the box office. He knows for a fact men hate obnoxious ugly girl bosses. He is a closet chud himself.

He really should had known better. Unless executives forced his hand, the only way I can see any "excuse" for him, otherwise it's all just him paying for his hubris.

Even if it's true the female writer just got the job because he bed her, it was still his job was still to fix the script before they started to shoot.
Gunn also wrote that shitty Superman speech too. I don't trust his abilities as a writer either.

Oh yeah, that year, they were setting up a new show called Legends of Tomorrow. The plot was that Rip Hunter recruited a bunch of supporting characters from both Arrow and Flash (White Canary, the Atom, Captain Cold, Heatwave, Firestorm, Hawkman, and Hawkgirl) to help him travel through time to defeat Vandal Savage. They pretty much dedicated entire episodes to writing off the characters while making them more comic accurate, like giving Atom the ability to shrink after an entire season of being an Iron Man rip-off.

Tranny YouTube is treating supergirl flopping as Troon 9/11.

Oh, well if it's Elseworlds then I guess the $250M loss doesn't matter. Makes sense. Guess we'll see what's next!
