Oh great, I hate this version of Joker already. Also, focus on Riddler in the trailer but he doesn't do any riddles, he's just presented as a normal gangster with a calling card. This is gonna be like season 1 where he does his gimmick, like, once, and never again, isn't it?
You can't make something sincere by adding synthetic drum beats. Everything about this is soulless in a skin of the old styles.
Calling it now: he's the Riddler because he "riddles" people with all the bullets from his tommy gun.

I don't get how every new adaptation of the Superman mythos past STAS probably manages to fall flat on some level, you'd think it would be easy to write him and the world as intended. Instead the characters aren't who they're supposed to be or you get something like MAWS that's bogged down with modern tripe that shouldn't be in a Superman show. I tried to watch some of MAWS and it left a sour taste in my mouth, at least STAS cares about both how Superman and the surrounding universe was portrayed, even if it was already connected to other DC shows like BTAS.
The only positive about MAWS were the character designs... Most of them at least.
Oh boy, anxiety in a modern day show. I think the only time DC got me interested in a Jessica storyline was when she was in the Yellow Lanterns a while back, it was a natural progression for her and she seemed to be doing pretty well there before they reverted her back to being a normal GL. I couldn't tell you what her supporting cast for the show would be besides other Green Lanterns, though, and it looks like the show is going to have Kyle in it so maybe he'll get to show off some GL stuff.
