All she had to say is that this movie doesn't alienate anyone and that's it.

Instead she pretty much said she didn't want Christian Dad's of four seeing her movie and since that is a huge portion of the market in parts of the US it was a really stupid thing to say.

Gunn will kerp forcing her on us out of spite but if he gets gone I would be surprised if she is kept in the series.

Christian dads of four are 5 or 6 tickets. She doesn't think. She tanked the box office singlehandedly.

This little run in Superman with Prime as the focus has been the most fun I've had with a Big Two comic in years.

I think people, even in this thread, give Gunn a pass because everyone was starved for Boy Scout wholesome Superman after a very long era of “evil Superman” .

Gunn’s supermen is better when compared to the edgy Superman era. While Snyder’s Superman was too busy brooding and aura farming to save people, Gunn’s Superman saved a squirrel.

But if you compare him to all the other great versions of Superman he does fall short. Whiny, inmature, with goofy villains, the whole thing of him being sent to conquer Earth etc.

And yet the idea of a Superman that saves lives, and genuinely is a good person somehow seems revolutionary instead of the bare minimum. Both Gunn’s Superman and Supergirl fall short to the top ones, even compared to their MAWs version. And those are the ones everyone thought would be woke garbage

I don't get how every new adaptation of the Superman mythos past STAS probably manages to fall flat on some level, you'd think it would be easy to write him and the world as intended. Instead the characters aren't who they're supposed to be or you get something like MAWS that's bogged down with modern tripe that shouldn't be in a Superman show. I tried to watch some of MAWS and it left a sour taste in my mouth, at least STAS cares about both how Superman and the surrounding universe was portrayed, even if it was already connected to other DC shows like BTAS.

I won’t lie and pretend MAWS hasn’t been Shoujoified. It reeks that it was made woke millennials that watch too much anime.

However, one thing I give them credit is that they are genuinely trying to create the best show they can instead of doing it to spite viewers. Bare minimum I know.

Still, the fact that people are simping their version of Supergirl, a cartoon girl with the plainest one piece suit designed to “avert the male gaze”, over Milly, should tell you everything.

The only positive about MAWS were the character designs... Most of them at least.
But yeah, they just had to jam is all that gay woke shit and race swap jimmy & Perry.
My Adventures With Green Lantern are next and I already know it will be disappointing.
The focus of the show is going to be Jessica Cruz.

Oh boy, anxiety in a modern day show. I think the only time DC got me interested in a Jessica storyline was when she was in the Yellow Lanterns a while back, it was a natural progression for her and she seemed to be doing pretty well there before they reverted her back to being a normal GL. I couldn't tell you what her supporting cast for the show would be besides other Green Lanterns, though, and it looks like the show is going to have Kyle in it so maybe he'll get to show off some GL stuff.

I knew about Jimmy (classic redhead to black trope that they love to do), what did they do to Perry?

And Lois is now half Korean or something.
And a White German scientist cyborg that's in a gay beastiality relationship with a gorilla.
Or Supergirl has a crush on Nigger Olsen.
Know what, I've changed my mind.
I 101% hate this show.

They did something that has been verboten for years, they dared to make her look happy and not full of daddy issues and other bullshit. Just look at that smile!

I'll admit I didn't finish the first season of MAWS. But what I saw was generally inoffensive, and I can't hate it, because it is better than the absolute slop in recent years. Grim I know
