I don't know what to think. On the one hand I like the video and the slick editing, on the other hand the day might come when the videos suddenly stop coming, and then we'll all regret that we never got to see the bit where Tyce called his small intestine a stpt faget while taking the first step to attaining full skelteanhood.

Tyce said Monster is pressurized because it's basically NOS so it would explode if you cut it in half but he was wrong because all that happened was he broke the mechanism on my wolf knife that I paid good welfare money for and now the blade just kinda swings around and won't stay open and we're going to be doing a sword cut video as soon as I can get Tyce to chill out and stop threatening me with the box of knives and swords every time I remind him to actually talk about the specs of the blade when we are filming these instead of rambling about how he is going to use them to kill his dad or beat up cops. So it looks like we're going to get more videos of them reviewing cheap BudK knives. It wasn't what I was expecting but it was still pretty funny.
 
That was great. Loved the editing, fucking funny stuff. . There was a moment there when Tyce stabbed the knife upwards that i thought he was gonna get it in the eye. Realistically I knew it wasn't gonna happen but I still flinched a little.
 
How can anyone be this window licking retarded and still be able to breathe?

I am concerned for the collective cognitive skill level of the forum when I see like 30 posts in this thread from different people who all independently lack the reading comprehension skills required to even skim past the fucking OP before posting. While I completely agree with your criticism about people on the forum not reading carefully enough that you bring to attention here, I am going to white knight for the kicky forheads a little bit.

1) Jace never has, or will be a reliable source of information. He's intermixed the terms "video" and "stream" liberally, particularly when he's high as a kite (which is fairly common.) Further, he's pulled the video/stream switcharoo on us before. Remember how a while back he was going to be performing the FINAL LIVESTREAM? and his content moving forward for the foreseeable future was going to be long plays? This decision was made with Rob's help to try and cut down on the broadcasting of behavior that typically gets Jace made fun of or in trouble for, such as revealing information he shouldn't, or passing out and pissing himself in front of an audience. All those wonderful moments could be removed from the public eye in post, and without an audience to tease and goad him on, which isn't necessarily healthy either. What did we get? Long play Livestreams, in which Jace doesn't do a whole lot of playing the game he's supposed to be long playing, opting instead to watch every Fast & Furious movie made ever all at once and playing a completely different game because he couldn't focus on his goal. The point is, Jace has promised one thing and given us another before.

2) Jace is incredibly lazy. As you mentioned in this same post Jace is terrible at planning and execution. Its obvious and apparent in the release of this video (which, by the way, MAD PROPS to CIADude, Yourself, or whoever did the edit job on this. I'll leave my fanboy sperging until the end of this post). There's fingerprints of his laziness in dealing with video production all throughout his releases, but I think the best example of it would be his video where he does archery with Kyle. Jace even mentions in footer notes in his video he intended to make a cool edited version showing off all his cool trick arrow shots, but it didn't look good. Rather than spend the extra effort of reshooting footage and cleaning up the rough spots in his edit, he just decides to release the unedited footage of him blaming an inanimate object for his inability to hit a target 30 feet away, and then goes through the mental gymnastics to decide that "this is for the fans!" to legitimize his lazy decision. I think the laziness is why we have a live stream of Saints Row 2 instead of a traditional, edited long play; both Jace probably thinks its some sort of personal trait that makes him unique to stream his show live instead of edit it (it kind of is, in a way), and its easier - why go through the BOOOOOOOOOORING, laborious work of reviewing, editing, and cleaning up HOURS AND HOURS of gameplay footage when he can just turn on his camera, toke up, and have an audience ready on hand instead?

3) Because of these precedents, I can see the Killy Fairs members having some confusion about what they're gonna get when Jace says he's going to have a content release. That's half of the magic of Deagle Nation - you never know what twist and turn the ride is going to take next!

I absolutely love the high end production values, clever mixing of original graphics alongside stock clip art, good fades and transitions, excellent background music choice etc etc. Its artistically and comically brilliant to see something so professionally in terms of post editing lead us right into Tyce's confused rambling mumbles, and right back out again. I actually have to give props to the Deagle Nation crew themselves for this one. Staging is fairly well done with the on table props (and skeleton heads), as well as Tyces' costuming. There's some unintentional comedy in the fine details too - anyone notice how Tyce's shotgun shells are all empty? They could have turned those around in the bandolier so it wouldn't be obvious on the close ups since you'd just see the shell's bottom. Instead, it just adds to Tyce's "character" of being a weird blade nut, wearing something completely nonfunctional and irrelevant because "it looks cool." One question, is the quality of Jace's camera really "that bad?" Its not Christopher Weston Chandler Piss Yellow PS2 Camera Compression Nightmare quality, but its grainy and has scratches and such. Is that his actual camera, or was that added in post? Either way, it really brought the video together as a whole and set the tone perfectly. Wonderful job to all involved.

I don't think Jace's choice to livestream is so much from laziness as it is narcissism. The entire reason he does videos is for audience interaction, and he doesn't get that in the traditional longplay format. It would also take him out of the picture, which is unacceptable to such an elite battlestoner marine wolf respector rape survivor(that's not fun any more) like Jace.

Jace without audience interaction and a slight degree of unpredictability would be boring whileas Tyce really benefits a lot from rehearsing and setting the audience interaction+side distractions to a minimum.

I don't think it's because "he he, Tyce is an idiot!" like many here believe, Tyce just isn't really that well cut out for live commentary and audience interaction while Jace is a natural showman, in which case it would be dumb to restrain Jace from doing all these on-camera goof-ups, and similarly not that smart to just let Tyce run loose without a script, because he'll run out of coherent things to say really quick.

That said, like Sammy said, I like the high production value that was put into this video, though to be honest I was kinda expecting some degrees of blade. vs. material footage in which case I was disappointed, but otherwise the video was pretty much rock solid.
