If you want my opinion on immigration as a whole it's that the immigrants we actually want who actually provide back to the countries they immigrated too are already here or aren't the majority of immigrants that come into the country now and we genuinely just need to stop all immigration period and reevaluate everything regarding it.

Honestly they should try finding any centuries old documents that actually say what land belonged to because historically the only land that would be argued as specifically native owned land would be where villages and such were built which are usually where cities today still are and not much else. Even shit like "spiritual land of x peoples/tribe" wasn't used to claim ownership just naming/mapping the local area.

We're finally at the point where they're starting to fight with each other because they're making claims over areas that overlap, but because the BC government feels it's "irrelevant" to have an available list of active claims no one actually knows what is or isn't being claimed until it's too late.

They even changed the name because they said the gold rush was outdated and offensive and then changed it to some gay ass name and then changed it to K Days because everyone hated the name but renaming it back to the full name was too scary. Never lived in Edmonton but family would take me when I went to Edmonton in the summer. That was the only other thing to do in Edmonton other than go the the big ass mall

The new company that took over the Stampede midway from Conklin also really sucks. Now the midway is about 6 rides and 4 different food booths copy/pasted all over with retarded prices, like $20 for a roasted turkey drumstick.

My only trips to the grounds after my kid was little and going just so she could see it were the two years Calgary got live AEW shows at the dome, and the overcrowding due to the Stampede board wanting ever-increasing gate numbers without expanding the grounds makes it just Tokyo train at rush hour-level masses of humanity filling all open space.
