Canada is a failed state

Which book? And is there a rip of it somewhere? I'd rather not give this faggot money or waste my audible pick.
You can find it on Anna's Archive. It's called Value(s): Building a Better World for all.

It comes across as high minded but in reality his solution seems to be the government as controlled by him putting it's thumb on the scale to create economic outcomes that he likes. Which translates into the economic outcomes where he makes a lot of money.

It sounds like the Carny’s company is starting to liquidate and walk back investments so he’s probably feeling some sort of financial pain. I wonder how desperate he will get and realize that a lot of it is basically his fault from when he worked under Trudeau

Should trigger an automatic election whenever this happens cause the people there clearly voted for a conservative.
Funnily enough this one does trigger a byelection because the guy isn't switching parties, he's resigning and being appointed to the Senate. His party affiliation in the Senate doesn't matter because the entire chamber rubber stamps whatever Parliament (read: the PMO) throws its way anyway.

nah, BC is 90% owned by the Chinks already, hell everyone calls Vancouver Hongcouver already, and Eby knows who butter's his bread. No doubt he will make a fuss and show in the media of it but he won't actually do anything to stop it.

You watch, this pipeline will be built in record time, well record time for Canada so about 3 years longer then any other modern nation, because the Chinks really, really need that oil. People forget that when the US took out Venezuela they cut off the Chinks of around 5 million barrels a day (ignore the Google shit that says Venezuela only supplied China with 1% of their oil, that's just the Chinks hiding shit because of sanctions). They really need that oil to keep shit going as China's oil industry is a joke. They import all most all of their fuel oils.

Any Chug band who thinks they can squeeze some extra firewater out of Ottawa by protesting and causing a problem is going to be in for a major shock. That new bill Carney passed gives the Fed's massive legal power (shock I know, the Liberals stepping on the Charter to increase their political power) to deal with protest on any project deemed "essential" by the elites.

Funny how Carney has agreed to deliver just around 5 million barrels a day huh? I guess Alberta will see the oil patch grown.

I personally bought more SunCor stock. All those millions of barrels of oil have to come from somewhere and I'm betting it's going to be the oil sands of Alberta.
Rating rainbows on this one because don't think for a moment BC, Alberta, and Ottawa aren't willing to let this drag out for the sake of politics. The chugs and greens will be allowed their court cases because it lets Eby play to his progtard wing, gives Smith another boogeyman to whack at during the provincial election next year, and enables Carney to act high and mighty about "following the process" (alongside quelling the unrest among his own leftists). The chugs will be bought off and the thing will get built eventually, but it sure as hell isn't happening before the next federal election or that 30 billion price tag turning into 90.

Also it's debatable how much oil sands production will rise to match the new capacity. For starters there just isn't much shut-in capacity to quickly leverage outside of some idle SAGD operations. Moreover Suncor, CNRL, and Imperial aren't going to build out any further capacity until that pipeline is built and turned on, not after getting burned repeatedly before. The fact the pipeline is a Crown Corporation project is enough to know the oil sands players won't be playing without some serious taxpayer-funded kickbacks to cover the risk.
