Bella's court case criminal weapon possession 4th in Queens, NY - Class 'A' misdemeanor charge. Probably the taser. Definitely not a gun. Adjourned(?) 8/15.

Oh man, Ass Attorney: Fungus For All, my favorite.

Since the arrest was from the Port Authority it is possible she was arrested on the subway or other public transit.
Means she got searched on the amtrack or (more likely) airtrain something. Port Authority doesn't deal with the subway I don't think. Really though if you're getting arrested for possession of...well, anything, in New York as young white woman it means you were doing something incredibly stupid and obvious. People who look like Bella are pretty much invisible to cops unless they're waving the fucking taser around like a moron.

I'm honestly curious what the circumstance here is. Did she not know those things are illegal in NYC (fair) or was she stupid enough to try to get through a metal detector somewhere with it? Was she threatening somebody? What the fuck happened that they not only saw her but made her empty her bag?

Also should be noted, as per my recollection of an earlier post made by another user elsewhere (sorry that I can't provide receipt - I'm up to my eyeballs in receipts) - a "taser" is a specific type/brand of stun gun which has prongs that shoot out and clasp onto the target, causing electrical charge to run through the whole body, with the intention of completely disabling the target. What she seems to have is a generic "stun gun" which doesn't have a projectile element to it, with the electrical charge running between the two nodes that are fixed onto the "gun." This is, to my understanding, legally relevant.
Where the code says "electronic dart gun" they're talking about tasers, so legally it doesn't really matter.

This is old news. It is a charge for 4th deg possession of a weapon which in New York probably means the taser. It is definitely not a gun charge. Without significant criminal history and with a decent lawyer she will probably be fine.
Out of the court of law and into the court of public opinion

This is where the glowies will shine.

I predict ~~ case dismissed.
She’s white and presumably has no other criminal record, this would get dismissed or pled down to a fine that will be wiped off her record after X amount of time without glowie parents. I’m surprised this is still scheduled to be honest.

The glowie parents help with getting a lawyer, sure, but I’d imagine the American Airlines pilot mother would be just as helpful, especially if she was arrested at LGA or JFK.

New York City - Queens County Criminal Court runs 7 days a week, 9 AM to 1 AM. There be a lotta "criminals".
Excuse me but would you roll down your tinted windshields so I can get a good look at you before deciding if I'm giving you this traffic ticket?

Damn fucking New York would be open 7 days a week. I'm way more used to 5 being the norm.

Just further proof that shes a malignant narcissist. She has no self awareness and is used to having no punishment for her actions. How much frontal lobe damage does one need to think that it's perfectly legally to carry a weapon through security where everyone is constantly on high alert? She didnt think shed get away with it, she simply thought nothing of it.

NYC is basically a 3rd world shithole so i can't fault someone for wanting protection.

Maybe I am wrong about this but why are people assuming she would actually travel to NY and attend this? I would bet that her lawyer makes the court appearance on her behalf. Isn't that the standard for these smaller cases, especially when someone has the money for a lawyer?

1. The code for the listing is DAT-N meaning "Desk Appearance Ticket - Night" meaning she is scheduled to appear in person.
2. There is no attorney listed for her.
3. This is still not an outright confirmation because the paperwork may be in the works or presented on the day of, but #1 and #2 are the confirmed current status of the case.
4. Why are you assuming that people who are dedicated to collecting this information are mistaken? Do you have any counter-evidence to present, or are you just pissing in the wind?
