The houses, moon, and ascendant/midheaven all can offer great insights, and there are some that would argue that the lack of a known hour does not make for a True and Honest reading. However, there's still plenty of info you can gleam from planetary aspects, transits, and even comets and meteors.

It would be a bit difficult to excavate any in-depth details. I do some readings where I'm working with a time range of ~2 hours given the chart doesn't move much, but some people can have more drastic changes such as the moon sign being completely different depending on the hour. You being born during the day or night also changes things.
If you'll never know it, you can try to do time rectification. It's a pain though. I did it for family members I didn't want to talk to. My mom took about 2 weeks to pin down.

I suspect she may be a Taurus rising based on physical appearance, but again I can be wrong. If you guys have the month and year of significant events such as parents passing (couldn't find the month for her mom), illnesses, etc that would help in my half-assed time rectification attempt.

Despite the time, her moon stays in Capricorn, and it seems she has some issues with her mother so that makes sense. I will try to find a more accurate time because her chart is looking a bit surprising and interesting.

Oops I forgot about that, thank you! I might have narrowed it down to her being a Sagittarius rising (9:56am). If so, her chart is making a little more sense. I had initially assumed she was a Capricorn rising, placing her Jupiter on the ascendant as that would explain her weight gain issues.

She would then have Moon conjunct Jupiter (and Mars) in her 2nd house, and Capricorn's ruler (Saturn) is in her 12th house (Scorpio). She will struggle with weight fluctuations, she may be an emotional eater. She can go through phases of dieting, discipline, but eventually she will turn to her emotional comfort of eating and indulge. Mars in 2nd house can also be impulsive and reckless with spending money. She may have suppressed trauma or resentment that causes her to hold onto her weight and kill her self-esteem.
Taurus is ruling her 6th house, and Taurus is ruled by Venus which is conjunct her Ascendant and Uranus. Both Venus and Uranus are 11 degrees, so her unusual appearance is tied to community/network/online (Venus rules Libra, Libra is ruling the 11th house of community/friends/network, Taurus is ruling 6th of daily routine/work, Aquarius is ruling 3rd house of short journeys/neighbors/communication) which explains job opportunities from her image (11 degrees = wealth).

Her Jupiter is in 8 degrees which indicates emotional repression and shame, combined with her Moon in 13 degrees (heavy burden (pun unintended), instability). 1, 13, and 25 are all Aries degrees which can be aggressive with its themes. Wow, any planet in her 2nd house is just in an unpleasant degree. Even Mars is in 17 degrees meaning mixed feelings and challenges, irreversible choices, or being fixated on something. She does not love herself at all and it shows. Even her Chiron is in the 7th house, conjunct her Descendant. There's a lot of pain around betrayal and rejection, not feeling like enough. She probably does want a relationship or companion, but doesn't want to handle the pain associated with it or potential rejection. Her wounds also surround feeling like she needs to be understood instead of learning to accept herself and understand that she can't win every single person over.

She is yet another internet personality with Lilith in a fire sign. This time it's in Aries, 5th house. Typically when I see Lilith in the 5th it points to an aversion to motherhood, these people do not want to have children. I have the same placement and I can back this up, lol. It being in 6 degrees means she can view motherhood as indentured servitude, I wonder if her own mother wanted to be a mom? Also, she can be very impulsive again. Fiercely independent as if she's overcompensating for something, maybe she feels the need to prove her worth.

The biggest thing is her Scorpio stellium in the 12th house, which probably explains all the addictions. Her Pluto is at 2 degrees which is associated with Taurus and also points to disordered eating, food, self-esteem, early patterns, etc. It's conjunct the Sun, so again another sign of her own disordered eating surrounding her image and how she presents herself to the world. Her Sun is also at 6 degrees, her Saturn at 17 degrees. Her Mercury is at 18 degrees, associated with illness and complaining.

Pluto in the 12th is already intense and is a no-brainer for addictions, mental instability and struggles, self-sabotage. So much self-sabotage. She must deal with a lot of loss. Doesn't help that Saturn is in there too. This is an unfortunate chart. I will also say that she had Nessus square Saturn and that points to abuse by male figure. I forgot the name of the asteroid since I don't usually mess with them, but its placement was in the 8th which indicates suffering sexual abuse. However, when changing to Whole Sign, it moved to the 9th.

Random, but has she dealt with anything dealing with her left thigh(??) anything with her left leg? I keep picking up things related to her left leg specifically?? Her left thigh and knee joint? Not as sure on this, but does she struggle with UTIs as well?

Capricorn Moons usually also had an emotionally unavailable or strict mother. Pisces rulling her 4th house, Pisces points to delusions, deceptions, etc at worst. Pisces ruler is in 2nd house (Jupiter), and Jupiter is a co-ruler of Sagittarius (1st house), deceptions and delusions in childhood have affected her self-worth and image. Since Cancer rules the 8th, I'm assuming its something to do with her mother. I get the feeling her father enables her or restricts her progress somehow.

Hi, I haven't spent much time in Girl Talk recently but I hope everyone has been doing well!

I had a look and according to her thread her birthday is October 29 1984 so she was born the in year of the Wood Rat. We are currently in the year of the Fire Horse which is Rat's enemy sign.

She is having a 4 year in numerology which is a year of hardship and restrictions, she is probably feeling frustrated and this could have contributed to her choice to leave the internet. May when she announced her decision was a 9 month which is a time for endings and completion. Next year she will be having a 5 year, Sheep is secret enemy sign for Rat since it is opposite of secret friend Ox but she will be feeling more sociable then so there is a chance she might resurface.

Spoiler: A quick look at Anna's chart

I've never really followed Anna closely, I've mostly just looked at the pictures so I apologize if I fail to focus on any relevant area.

Anna has 2 stelliums in her chart; A stellium is where there are 3 or more planets in the same zodiac sign or house in the natal chart, this is a major concentration of energy in and suggests there is a natural talent and/ or intense focus on the areas in which is covers.

Since I don't have her time of birth I can't calculate which houses they sit in but she has Sun, Mercury, Saturn and Pluto in Libra and Moon, Mars, Jupiter and Neptune in Sagittarius.

Her Sun is in Libra which is considered to be in debilitated (at it's weakest), Libra prefers harmony so those with Sun here prefer to lead through tact and negotiation rather than being direct or dominating situations. It is placed in the nakshatra of Swati "The Self-Gong Star" which is ruled by planet Rahu. Rahu AKA North Node in Vedic astrology is a shadow planet believed to rule over things like worldly ambitions, sudden fame, illusion, social media and the like. Placements in Swati usually mean a person is independent and free spirited, highly communicative and artistic.

Sun conjunct Pluto suggests themes of transformation and death/rebirth in the core identity as well as a knack for uncovering the hidden motivations of others and dislike of superficiality in relationships. On the negative side, in some cases it make a person paranoid or self destructive.

Also in Libra, Mercury is conjunct Saturn. Saturn is exalted in Libra. This alignment brings diplomacy and fairness, they could excel in mediation. Saturn conjunct Mercury helps a person to think logically and systemically and they may also be good at long-term planning.


As for her Stellium in Sagittarius, Moon is in Purva Ashada nakshatra "the former unconquered". Such a Moon placement bestows a person with a high degree of confidence and emotional stamina/resilience, it can also lead a person to be hasty or reactive in certain situations. There is a marked tendency to commit to one ideology and be quite stubborn.

Jupiter is conjunct Neptune and while this can help to make a person more artistic and imaginative, they may also be prone to illusion and escapism. There could be escapist tendencies like substance abuse or daydreaming or being overly trusting* and vulnerable to manipulation or scams. *More likely the former due to the the aforementioned Pluto-Sun aspect.


Sun and Jupiter in sextile brings optimism and luck to a person, however these are both forming a tight quincunx with Chiron and forming a Yod 'Finger of God' aspect pattern. Having this in the natal chart is believed to indicate a unique life mission or spiritual assignment for the individual. Quincunx is a difficult aspect requiring adjustment and the easy flow of Sun and Jupiter are creating a finger and directing a sense of pressure and an internal disconnect towards Chiron 'the wounded healer'. This could mean that Anna's enthusiasm and desire for growth is frequently thwarted by deep seated wounds and insecurities. She may resort to forced positivity or constant adventure or overachieving to avoid addressing her vulnerabilities

Opposite to Chiron is Venus in Scorpio, this could mean her deepest wound is her core desire for love and beauty, she may feel lonely or rejected. For Venus in Scorpio they are searching for intense emotional depth and soul-level intimacy, they are extremely loyal and expect the same back. They can be prone to jealousy and possess an 'all or nothing' mindset. They can easily read the hidden motivations and see through the lies of others. Venus is also conjunct Uranus, this can cause sudden relationship shifts or create a push-pull between craving autonomy and obsession.

From this thread that inspired the OP, it looks like there are a lot of T-squares in Chris' chart.

Specifically, T-Squares hitting the North** Node and Vertex.

Venus opposing North** Node, squaring both Mars and Saturn, and Sun and Moon both opposite Vertex, each squaring Uranus. From the little reading I've done, T-Squares appear to represent themes that will persistently exhibit themselves in the person, the qualities presumably based on the planets and signs, with the squared planet acting as a tension point for the two opposites. Good aspects can alleviate this somewhat, but Chris' shit looks kind of FUBAR'd anyway given everything the OP of the Chris Chan chart described.

Sun sign really doesn't tell you enough by itself. The entire chart with potential squares, oppositions, trines and conjuncts are needed.

If we were to base it on the Big 3 (Sun, Moon, Ascendant) I'd guess that a Big 3 that would be much more likely than the others to produce a true undeniable lolcow would be (Leo Sun at 22deg, Scorpio Moon at 22deg, Aries Ascendant at 22deg)

22 degrees of Leo is associated with self-sabotage and downfall, being one's own worst enemy.

In this case, the Sun would be Squaring the Moon which entails a harsh clash between the two luminaries (Sun/Moon). The Moon would be quincunx the Ascendant which would entail awkwardness between emotional orientation and outer vibes. The Sun would be Trine the Ascendant which would entail flowing effortless harmony between destructive core sense of self and destructive outer vibes.

What are the best books/resources for learning astrology? Primarily interested in learning more about Eastern Vedic astrology, since as another poster said earlier, Indians are the ones investing a lot of money into it. But I don't mind resources on Western Tropical as well.

While I'm sure there's a lot of truth and efficacy in Vedic Astrology, it gets a lot of hype online precisely from the types of personalities who are desperate for money and want to sell you on the idea that it's this exotic foreign dark-but-powerful secret methodology.

I suspect someone can do everything astrology can do from the 'standard' Tropical Western Astrology. With that being said I am interesting in learning more non-standard Western astrological methodologies, particularly Uranian Astrology and Symmetrical Astrology
