As a general rule, I would say that basically any slave that was owned north of Mason-Dixon was not much different from a butler/maid aside from the lack of pay. Heck, even in the South, most slave-owning households basically treated them the same way, with the exception of large plantations.

Dear God I’m so tired of having to hold the hand of every single nig I work with in healthcare or have to deal with in customer service.
At my job they never dress appropriately for the job so every week the head supervisor is having to send mass emails to everybody at my organization about how we’re not allowed to dress like bimbos, wear profane shirts, have 5-inch dragon nails and wear booty shorts. I’m always having to tell the black workers to stop wearing and saying crass shit. I get secondhand embarrassment reading their care notes. They’ll throw profanity and slang throughout it and I keep having to send them to the head supervisor to make alterations because it’s so fucking embarrassing. How fucking hard is it to just wear clean scrubs and not talk like a ghetto tard??
I have to check, double-check, triple-check every time a black lady deals with a patient because 90% of the time they do a half ass job or don’t even bother to do the job at all they let someone else deal with their shit. Patients get neglected or delayed care because of it when we are supposed to be adhering to a strict schedule but every Shaniqua that comes in royally fucks it up and doesn’t bother to record when they administered medications or what care was provided at all. They’ll neglect patients in favor of diddling on their phones or watching TV. It turns into a shitshow but we’re expected to pretend everything is fine and dandy to the administration and some poor worker ends up having to do Shaniqua’s job for the same pay. I have to be on these people like I’m wrangling kindergarteners.
They’re late. They’re always late. 5 minutes late. 30 minutes late. 2 hours late. All of them are always fucking late.
One dumbass black coworker replaced a client’s Lorcet with Aspirin and the other dumbass black workers didn’t bother to compare the pills or read the pill descriptions on the bottles so the client’s condition just continued to deteriorate until an actual competent employee did their fucking job and noticed the pills weren’t matching.
