Scholars with the same ideological ball sucking bent as you cannot erase tribes like the Seminole and Cherokee saying in their oral histories that they were driven from their ancestral homelands near the Great Lakes by other Injuns (imperialism, ethnic cleansing) and making their way south to Georgia and Florida where they made new homes by driving the tribes living there out (imperialism, ethnic cleansing). Or the Comanche engaging in imperialism, ethnic cleansing, enslavement, and genocide so bad that tribes like the Apache and Lakota had to flee hundreds of miles to where they were living when whites encountered them.
Or tribes like the Anasazi and Pueblo building their cliff dwellings in badlands to try to get safety from raiders (speculated by some to be Aztecs).
Or the Iroquious and Hurons and their allied tribes ethnically cleansing and enslaving each other back and forth for decades before the Europeans showed up.
Pretty peaceably your rancid ass, Thomas. The myth of the peaceful North American Injun only exists because they were too fucking primitive to invent writing so there aren't any records, and they were doing it for tens of thousands of years so there wouldn't even be oral legends for most of it either. War was a constant fact of life for Injuns, because they are human, and humans war. All humans.
