How many does Bungie employ? I can only find stuff saying they have <1000 employees, but hopefully these cuts run very, very deep. Break out those "Learn to mine coal" memes.

They had around 800 employees prior to today. People inside were stating it was 50/50 between Destiny and Marathon. So, most of D2’s team is axed, but, surprisingly seeing Marathon devs, atleast some, being cut as well. How many does Bungie employ? Like clockwork, hehe.
"euuh we are rearranging all the faggots to different studios don't worry"
with kind regards

I'm legit not surprised. If losses occur, people will get fired. But there is a silver lining here: the (((investors))) get raped as well.
Too bad the devs are tranny faggots who literally said "if you hate trans people don't play our game"Deep Rock Galactic
Many such cases, it seems. I thought the tranny shit was supposed to die the fuck off.Sony is in deep shit.
Its a coinflip whether xbox or sony will collapse first, but both at the same time would be REALLY funny

I haven't played it since
Considering the average dev time, we’ve probably got a few more years of it coming down the pipe before we start to see the “ah yes, this was when they realized the people they pander to don’t buy shit” shift occur. Many such cases, it seems. I thought the tranny shit was supposed to die the fuck off.
lol trust me, they are.I hope you Destiny losers are happy that your seething about a TEN YEAR OLD GAME ending live service resulted in a massive campaign against an extremely polished and entertaining (albeit massively overdeveloped/over-budget) shooter, ultimately resulting in positions being eliminated.
i legit forgot about them games, not the fact that they are pve but the fact that they are bland shit.Probably also up noses.
You know, I legit do not understand why so many people are reluctant to look at games like Deep Rock Galactic and go "Hey, maybe we should make a fun PvE killfest for you and your friends to enjoy and chill in", especially after Overkill completely shat the bed with Payday 3 and Arrowhead with Helldivers 2. Market's wide open.
easy bet the actual devs will be axed rather than the people that need to be axed like consulting shit and marketeers. They had around 800 employees prior to today. Former Bungo Fags on Twitter are saying that they, along side their leads, are being axed. Does that also mean higher management that actually made these decisions that led us to this? Not sure, but upper management positions in some shape or form are being fired.easy bet the actual devs will be axed rather than the people that need to be axed like consulting shit and marketeers.
It would be funny when GabeCube wins by defaultSony is in deep shit.

Isn't it a common practice nowadays to hire people as contractors rather than as employees proper, for company's benefit or something? I assume you can essentially count them as staff, this distinction probably doesn't actually matter.Contractors are apparently getting cut to, if marathon loses those were going to see a season 3 that's as broken as launch cyberpunk and fo76, I have no faith that what remains of Bungie will be able to hold marathon together.

I'm sorry you feel this wayChiming in again to say that post-launch layoffs were inevitable but I hope you Destiny losers are happy that your seething about a TEN YEAR OLD GAME ending live service resulted in a massive campaign against an extremely polished and entertaining (albeit massively overdeveloped/over-budget) shooter, ultimately resulting in positions being eliminated.
Steam reviews are clearly being tanked by weirdo diehards that are throwing a pissfit because they can't get NeW cOnTeNt, weird twitter accounts exist solely to talk shit about the game, and there are entire subreddits dedicated to shitting on Marathon. I'm sorry the $60 game that you got to enjoy for 10 years doesn't have new content coming (you can still play TEN YEARS of content lol) and sorry you're going to have to wait a bit longer for a new one (if the studio survives).
I basically gave up on multiplayer FPS two years ago but the style, low price ($40), deep lore and commitment to tasteful paid content (no rappers in the game) made me give this game a shot and it is one of my favorite games to come out in years. Tense to the point of reaching survival horror, great population of squad fills with mics, fun inventory management, a fun PvPvE blend, season wipes, and frequent updates have made this an absolute breath of fresh air.
Hopped on for two hours last night with some friends that haven't played all season and we hit Outpost with pretty basic gear. Ended up out-strategizing two different elite teams, stole two keys and loaded up on great gear before having one of the most tense exfils I can remember, barely surviving as a team tried to snipe us from a nearby rooftop.
Probably no convincing you at this point but the friends that haven't played for two months cannot wait to hop back on tonight and try another few runs. Gamers are such whiny babies and negative commentary always resonates further than positive feedback.
It's possible that management at Bungie also gets the boot, considering it's coming top down from Sony, from what I understand. But it's Sony that's also full of faggots, so who knows.Former Bungo Fags on Twitter are saying that they, along side their leads, are being axed. Does that also mean higher management that actually made these decisions that led us to this? Not sure, but upper management positions in some shape or form are being fired.
