I think Amber's sexuality works in the same way the rest of her persona does, it's entirely dependant upon those she surrounds herself/interacts with.

It's a common thing with a lot of bellends now. When a person has zero personality, no definable traits besides being a disgusting fat narcissist, they have to build a personality using traits from others (especially if it's currently popular with the masses). This includes sexuality.

I don't think it would be too difficult. Like you pointed out, she wasn't even having sex. It's basically like having a live in best friend you occasionally kiss on the mouth. And hell, parents do that to their kids sometimes. If her relationship hasn't been inherently sexual in the first place, then it's not too farfetched a theory that she's probably a straight woman. Or at the very least, an asexual woman.
