From the way she's talked about her parents and the way she boasted about shooting that poor doggo it does seem more to me like she was just emotionally neglected.
Having the ability to lie about her fathers whereabouts and income suggests that he's not around enough to make it seem like these lies aren't believable in anyway to the people around Bella irl. She's probably spent most of her time alone in that NY apartment that her mother owns while she worked and as such can't see her as anymore than someone who can provide cheap airline tickets and free accommodation for when she's there.
Boasting about the dog really does seem like it was one of the few moments in her childhood that actually had an effect on her (obviously) be it positive or negative and was probably one of the few times she spent bonding with whomever was with her.
The fact she has no other stories/interests to share about/with her parents really does just suggest she was left alone with a tablet to grow up on. Its sad that she found the darker parts of it and instead of steering her away from it her parents just steered away from her while she just saved these videos for the feelings she got from them but not gonna lie she's 19 I feel like despite all this she should have more sense even if there was trauma involved.

Whenever I read about this kind of thing my impression is that it's not so much nature or nurture, it's both. Pitt bulls might be more aggressive on average then most dogs, but if you train them right they can be nice. People are more complicated, but with mental illness that same principle is true enough. How mental illness evolves and manifests has a lot to do with a person's environment. I guess Chris is a great example, he was always going to be fucked up but the ultra-permissive and dysfunctional family situation coupled with the lack of professional help just poured gasoline on the fire.

Likewise the worst thing anybody ever did was give Bella a fucking computer. Seems like she's been kind of rootless on top of that (parents divorced, living in different parts of the country, the CIA being portrayed as a normal career path rather then a genocidal organization of professional criminals, etc etc)

I think she knows just barely enough to believe she knows everything, the classic dunning krueger you see in college kids her age especially kids like her. She knows more about it than her average peers which emboldens her to be absolutely retarded.

I remember the panic in the Zorgoth interview thread once CP was mentioned, crazy to see it confirmed by this leak.

Isabella Janke is fucking dumb at opsec but you don't upload a screenshot of CP links to imgur, fuck, you don't TAKE a screenshot of CP links, unless you're so used to hunting for CP that you're not scared shitless of it coming back to bit you in the ass. Unless Bella is a legitimate pedophile I think she probably has it to troll people or just generally get a rise out of them. I don't know if that's "better" then getting off to it, but at least it implies some knowledge that you know it's fucked up...

I think one of her friends when describing her said something like "Before I met Bella I would say there's no way a girl would do that, now I'm like "a girl would totally do that". I kinda get what he means. Bella has the kind of behavior I normally associate with socially isolated neckbeards rather then young women. Like, her sexual proclivities are kinda...I don't know, "manly"? And I don't mean the lesbianism, I mean the way she approaches sex in general comes off like a guy. Like, most pedophiles are dudes. Most extreme sexual sadists in general are men. This obsession with dominating the weak physically, this weird undercurrent of aggression, the obsession with female bodily functions...I don't think I've ever met a woman like that. She reminds me of Katherine Knight, the Australian abbatoir who literally skinned her boyfriend, cooked him, and set up dinner plates to serve him to his children (she may have also been planning on killing said children too but lost her nerve though she had previously placed her infant on railroads tracks when she was pissed at a different partner).

Just every thing you associate with an out-of-control man, Katherine did. And one of the warning signs with Katherine was how much she *enjoyed* working at an abbatoir. A position with a high turn over rate because most people cannot stomach slaughtering and butchering animals for hours a day, day in, day out. Katherine worked there all her adult life.

The fact that Bella also has real animal abuse and bestiality content as well as various paraphilias like cat/faeces/fart fetishes etc. makes me think that she not only consumed that kind of content (possibly en masse, we've just scratched the surface) but wanted to produce it/act on them as well. I could take the Tendies video as fake or a joke if I knew she was just a reasonably normal individual, even if it's in poor taste (and she looks like a complete oaf swinging Tendies around).

Hamsters are very low cost, easy to dispose of, not going to be missed by anyone (and easy to kill), the same reasons why killers often start out small. So boiling a hamster in 'swim fucker swim' and beating Tendies in a sock (that we know of) follows that logic. It contrasts to the meme-god level status they appear to attach to Goober the cat, just because he's a cat (le epic meme animal).

It's one thing to brag about 'killing 8 hamsters' to your in-group on discord as it could be written off as just being an edgelord, people would probably assume she's just making it up just to outdo people (because even edgelords taking that seriously would be like wtf, they're not all actual psychopaths). At what point do you think "I should start making videos of me 'killing' hamsters so they really think it's real"? What is there to gain from pretending apart from a reputation that you actually did it (good or bad)? The Tendies video makes for a garbage gag anyway as it's just "hurr durr hamster bad me beat hamster".

I get the impression that she doesn't really understand the boundary between say dark jokes and actually doing the things depicted in them. Her consuming extremely violent and graphic content is a concern in this way as it can become a form of justification, in that if you've seen (for example) lots of small animals getting killed it becomes normalised and a disturbed individual can think of it as "they're all doing it so why can't I" - this is often only limited by convenience, consequence or risk of getting caught. So hamsters are an obvious choice to achieve the aims but not be exposed to much risk while doing so.
Her aims being to be seen as a stone cold hamster killer but while simultaneously owning a heckin chonker - both essentially driven by seeking attention/clout from the relevant audience.

It could be the Dunning-Kruger effect in action, as in she knows just enough to do a bit of coding, browse the dark web, get herself into trouble (trojans, CP etc.) but nowhere near enough to understand how you would need to go about doing these things if you didn't want to get caught (or at least leave receipts). Although saying that some things are unexplainable, like using the same usernames and passwords across the board, saving CP links to imgur etc. That's more retardation than anything else.
Also if her father supplied her with a hardware VPN box and a Blackphone she might have just been given the hardware, but no context on how to use it to good effect, or what its effects even are.

Kaczynski was put through psychological torment and humiliation during CIA experiments at Harvard to be fair. Holmes, Lanza and Morgan Geyser all had variations of Schizo mental illness that could, in part explain their actions.

I agree that Bella most likely wasn't a victim of abuse during childhood, rather she was just born with sociopathic tendencies.
