I know, but the idea that someone had to think of conceivable things people would be stupid enough to do either accidentally or for money is, based on the labels you'll see, an extremely sobering picture of human intelligence.

Argument about it wouldn't be the wilderness anymore is bs. Because there are already fenced in paths partway. Those fences are completely fine and you have to actively climb over them.

Since Plagued Moth has been brought up, I felt like mentioning that he says in his description for his latest vid that to get access to his Discord, to message him if you're a patron, artist...or sex worker.

Considering those types and how he comes off, wouldn't be surprised if they were non-monogamist.

I'm just going to come out and say it though, I officially cannot stand watching his videos. He really suffers from not editing his videos and he's constantly going off topic and on some sort of tangent irrelevant to the topic on hand. I'd say his videos are 15 percent intro, 25 percent irrelevance, and the rest is the topic when in reality, the topic should at least take up 90 percent of your video at least.

Say what you will about Cold Raven's Nest but at least he gets right to the subject and most importantly, he doesn't have a liberal holier than thou vibe going on.
 
These channels like to blow the fuck out of the proportions of the subject topic they are talking about, especially when it comes to pedos doing pedophile stuff or fetish channels. (Nexpo, Nick Crowley are good examples of this). If you have been on the Internet for more than a year or two, nothing about this should surprise you.

The other side of the spectrum is when people present a subject in such a bland way that it might as well be a Wikipedia article (Disturban) bonus points if they ruin the video by adding facecams and interrupt the narration to make a Doug Walker tier quip or joke (Plagued Moth).

Then you have the people that present a subject that may or may not be true of something that's super creepy deep web superhacker stuff; "This deep web video that sounds like a creepypasta might totally be real guise!" or people who can't comprehend that those "disturbing websites" are just people trying to scare other people or just trying to create and art project or some shit.

The only channel i've been really interested is Shrouded Hand because his content, while disturbing, it's not something that you see other people tackle on. I'd also add Night Mind just because it's a nice filter to find good ARGs and have something to watch.

I disagree about Night Mind only because he's a pretentious sperg who acts like he's the godfather of Arg's and he talks down to his viewers like children.

Also adding to this I think a lot of these channels take way too long to eventually admit they don't know the answer to a mystery. After awile I just stopped watching these because most of these topics are something I could read in five seconds, not spend 10 to 30 minutes watching amateur Unsolved Mysterious without the charisma of Robert Stack.

I became annoyed with horror channels when Erratas was popular and they all treated it like it could be a real thing happening to people when it was an obvious ARG.

They only treated it like a real thing because they had to make a video on it while it's hot. Even though it was painfully obvious who was behind it.
Also funny how KFCMC' music quality plummeted once the jig was up.
 
The only ARG channel I can stand anymore is Inside a Mind because he doesn't fucking pretend the stuff he covers are scawy deep web mysteries, and unlike Night Mind he doesn't have this holier than thou attitude thinking he's the Sherlock of ARG. The only time I can recall he insisted that he came up with the one true theory is his video on DHMIS, but the difference between him and Night Mind is that his theory both checks out logically and he acknowledges the creators' own words that all theories are correct.
I think I've mentioned it before but this is also why Lazy Masquerade is good, normally I despise creepypasta channels but somehow his narrations manage to be genuinely creepy and he doesn't act like an autist who thinks every story he reads is legit.
 
Nexpo is pretty high quality, the period where he did retarded skit stuff was cringe though. The Ben Drowned video is probably one of his worst. Nick Crowley is pretty good as well since he's basically just a diet nexpo. Fascinating Horror is good too for quick brief videos on various disasters, he doesn't add any jokes or personality into them so its just informative. And I'm not sure if it counts but JCS and That Chapter are good for anyone looking for crime kino
