I guess he means a move that "floats" an opponnent on hit.
I'm not an expert on VF, but in Tekken it is used to describe the "floaty" state a character is in after getting hit in mid air, resulting in the character floating a bit and being open for a juggle combo.

If he doesn't stir the "sauce" the 3 cans of tomato paste he puts in it will settle out to the bottom and scorch, also he has to have the "sauce" at a low boil for 4 to 5 hours because he dumps an extra quart or two of water into it and that takes a long time to simmer away.

An unpopular opinion, no doubt, but, you aren't wrong... I'm willing to take an objective look at what I do with my time, and following PPB is probably the least worthwhile; but you can't blame us for the content drought, we are bored autists almost to a T, and we want to sperg out about shit sometimes to other strangers on the internet. Difference is, we don't gate-keep or charge anything but the time you want to invest.
KWF may well help form para-social relationships much like PPB's chat, the poignant difference is that, like the internet was meant to be, this shit is free, and there's no censorship, I would have never seen the christchurch shooting in full if not for KWF.
You coming here and trying to "poke the bear" is anything but; your ilk is a dime-a-dozen, much like the regulars here, we don't give a fuck about your opinion, we care about facts that can be presented and verified, it's not a cult mentality.

It would be entirely different if Phil was, say, making a bolognese sauce, where you simmer the sauce for a long time, adding water/wine and stirring it if the liquid evaporates too much. Even then, at minimum, for some bolognese, you would have 4 hours of simmering for things to thicken up. Heck, you can even stop the cooking process and leave it on the stove to pick it up later.
Also, you do NOT add sugar to a bolognese sauce. I don't understand any logical explanation as to why you would add as much sugar as Phil does to his tomato sauce, other than to attempt to cut down on the acidity of the tomatoes. Even then, you add MINISCULE amounts. Not a FUCKING CUP of sugar.

He said he beat all the beginners already. Now he is playing against people that have 'learned the abusive shit'.
So, you see, as Phil picks up rank, he doesn't actually run into better opponents, and certainly not players better than him. He runs into people that have just figured out how to exploit the game. Very similar to how, when the CoD matchmaking bumps him up out of the Derich Rank, he isn't playing better people... they're all just laggers who have learned how to abuse their connections.
Nobody is ever actually better than Phil. They've just learned how to game the system, and Phil can't beat them because he insists on playing an honest game based around the godlike fundamentals they fail to understand.
