All 4 officer have been charged by the feds with charges that carry the death penalty or life in prison.

Chauvin, 45, Thomas Lane, 38, J Alexander Kueng, 27, and Tou Thao, 35, were charged Friday with willfully violating Floyd's civil rights when he died under Chauvin's knee last May.

The convicted killer and the three other cops have been slapped with federal charges for failing to provide medical care to Floyd during his fatal arrest outside a convenience store.

Chauvin is further charged with violating Floyd's right to be free from unreasonable force by a police officer, while Thao and Kueng are charged with failing to intervene to stop Chauvin using unreasonable force.

If convicted on these charges, all four disgraced officers could face the federal death penalty or life in prison.

Honestly, they'll probably be open to giving tours for a while. Not because they'll have the visitors to justify allowing tours for so long, but because so few people will come that they'll be motivated to continue offering, so as to try and justify giving tours in the first place. As for how they'll end, my guess is either some enterprising individual will go to the tranch to specifically mess with the men there, causing them to cease further tours out of "fear" for their lives; or a completely innocent tour-goer will inadvertently do just the right thing to gain their ire and attention. Considering how paranoid they are about who they'll admit, I think the latter is more plausible.

There's no special custody unit specifically for cops, but he'll need some sort of protective custody, likely via a Special Housing Unit if he's going to federal prison, as LEOs are almost as much of a yard-target as chomos.
