This is a very, very interesting development. But let's not get ahead of ourselves.
This, at the very least, confirms that Dream gets information from this thread, but not necessarily that he himself reads the thread. More likely is that Dream hired one of those guys that scrubbed his past to also keep an eye on the thread for critical information. Whichever it is...
INTRUDER ALERT! RED SPY IN THE BASE!
Brave Kiwi farmers going to defend this thread once the Dream stans attack.

Oh no.

It can't be called, only texted, and the first two replies are automated. It includes a voicemail saying it can't be called but that Dream is totally reading an replying to everything. Meaning he likely has a bunch of people writing replies for him and he only answers a token few (If any at all), because he'd be retarded for trying to reply to 80,000 texts otherwise.

I wonder what kind of texts he's getting kek. Can't imagine the sheer parasocialism. Might fuck around and text it myself because I'm really bored right now haha.
What prompted this though? Seems like it just sorta came out of nowhere.

Probably the same as always: Attention. There's probably gonna be some ARG thing snuck in, that usually happens with these kinds of events. That or he's gonna make a video showcasing the more noteworthy texts that aren't children sending him nudes.

Alrighty, I did some digging, needless to say I had a gut feeling this was familiar. And well...

This is probably what's going on | Archive

This was a widespread thing back in 2019, not sure why Dream's doing it now. Either it's this or something extremely similar.

Here is their website | Lots of archives

"We're, like, tooooootally not a scam guise"
This is run by a company called Community [originally known as Shimmur], basically it gives celebrities a phone number that they can use to "text" their fans. And these numbers don't use 1-800-WHOGIVESASHIT type stuff either, so it looks more genuine and not manufactured and disingenuous like it actually is. Credit where credit is due, that's pretty clever, intentional or not.
Supposedly they do store your information and you can opt out by texting "STOP" although to completely remove all your info from the platform you have to Email privacy@community.com.

Bottom line though, this is for advertising | Archive
It's quite shady as well [big surprise I know] | Archive [I know this is Reddit, but still]

Yeah, that company's gonna farm a lot of tendies off of Dream's crazy stans.
Obviously, not making any definitive claims of scammery [I'm really just a tinfoiling retard like the rest of you fucks], this is all speculation. But it's something to get your mind thinking nonetheless.

[Separate post because this doesn't entirely pertain to Community] Well folks, there's an entire account | [A-4/13/2021] dedicated to this already. :story: Also, this serves as confirmation that this is, in fact, a thing by Community.

I'm seeing a lot of stans screenshotting them spam-messaging him on Twitter right now kek. Good luck with having your data [allegedly] harvested and sold you morons.

Wait. Aren’t a lot of his fans minors, making (allegedly) harvesting their sweet sweet data illegal due to COPPA?

Tommy also got a cancel thread on him for joking about Dream stans
Tommy recently got a callout over "a Mexican accent" just recently too.
There's a lot of threads on it, but here's the "main" one I guess (archive) that got a decent amount of traction.
From my understanding, a lot of people were split on deeming this as "problematic" but it still was a hot topic for a few days. Nonetheless, it's fucking insane how these people are calling the poor kid out for just speaking Spanish.
Here are the videos that were apparently damning evidence of Tommy being racist/mocking (??? I don't even understand):

This shit is so out-there that you can't help but laugh.

Coming in with another of my crackshot theories here but something tells me this is another way for him to talk to his dedicated masses while putting up a filter between us (and others like us, likely not just us specifically) and his statements. This feels like an increasingly roundabout information war. Allow me to present some more info about Community that I think is worth noting.

Visiting the "Why Community" (archive above) section of their site they proudly boast about the "Leader"s ability to control exactly which users are texted certain things by location, gender and other information collected by Community.

Additionally, in earlier versions of the site (so take this with a grain of salt), Community's FAQ states:

(yoinked from this specific archived page)

From this it seems Dream can control who receives texts based on provided location, gender, age & birthdate and likely also other connections made through Community's internal systems, like other leaders a fan is following. Dream additionally doesn't have to be the only person managing this number, meaning he could have any number of helpers on this.

Additionally, judging by this, it seems that Dream can very easily program the service to send out voicemails and similar content. While we can't exactly ascertain how programmable this system is because I'm pretty sure none of us are willing to spend ~$100 just to check how it works ourselves, we can take a look at a similar service (WayBack archive) and infer common features from there. Grouping fans by further categories may only be the start of how far he can manage this. The only question is if he can be assed and if he can actually summon the mental capacity to actually DO it.

Conclusion: Dream is further manipulating his impressionable young audience and this tool lets him do so on an extremely large scale and to a great effect. It also creates a small filter thanks to this essentially being a slightly more annoying-to-access pseudo-social media platform that just so happens to be managed on an SMS service rather than on the internet.
I don't like this.

apparently Ninja has used community at some point and i find that funny for some reason

Null community number when? Aldo this is not going to end well. It’s also exploitable as hell as he has direct access to people where he could easily solicit nudes from and they’d swarm to it.
