No idea, but Kiara has always struck me as a normie when it comes to videogames., like Calli.
I checked out the start of the stream just because this is D2 we're talking about and she mentioned playing D2 before at a young age playing on her mom's D2 account - so it's not her first dance with the game (though she admits she never got past Andariel in Act 1 as a kid). She also offers a nice little tidbit as well about not finding out about the D2 alpha test until yesterday, asked management for access, signed up herself and then finding out she got in. Kiara has actually talked quite a bit about how her super survivalist mom was also strangely into playing video games, and she played WoW and other Blizzard games at a young age with her family because of it. It doesn't surprise me she also played Diablo before because of that.
From what she said later on it sounds more likely that she just got the invite through Cover. Also explains why the japanese Diablo twitter account retweeted her stream.
Could be mass reports from antis or just system glitching again. Maybe she said "nigero" or similar. God only knows how the AI works, because I'm pretty sure Susan doesn't.
They don't want to start a conflict at all, period. It's just like sperging about politics, no matter which side wins, nobody gained from it.To summarize the theories behind Coco and HoloEN tip-toeing around the topic of their potential collab:
- the management doesn't want their precious HoloEN to be attacked by bugmen, keeps quiet about it
- the management doesn't want the much bigger HoloEN audience to go Nanking on bugmen, keeps quiet about it
- the management set some rules way back during Taiwan Yabai and nobody is willing to ask the upper management to change it
- Coco is working behind the scenes as an occasional manager/mentor/guide and potential collab could disclose that it is not the girls' first collab
The community tends to forget quickly about stuff and if Cover does not answer, the interest will die down in a day or two (or maybe it has already), but I'm REALLY curious about the real reason.
She doesn't even need to show up to play the game, she just sits somewhere in the background watching Netflix and says "Fuck You" sometimes.
Eh, I wouldn't give them shit for this. They're an indie group, not a multimillion dollar corporation. They made a pretty little video to tease a new member. I think it's fine that they didn't spend too much on it, or that the envelope thing was an existing idea. I suppose they could be giving it more fanfare but I guess they want to keep the name a "secret" for now.
I mean, ripping off imagery with specific meaning known by millions of people who largely overlap in audience makes sense from a practical perspective.
