I find it completely understandable (to a point) of women craving to be a mother so bad they do shit like this. Hell, as horrifying as it is, I sort of understand why some women get so psychotic for a baby, that they steal children or (as from the infamous movie Inside) they resort to the horrific crime of cutting out a baby from their mother (and this has happened in real life). But that's because for women, our entire point of existence is to have babies, from an evolution standpoint.
But for men to display this, is just....disgustingly wrong. They don't want to be mothers, they just fetishize it, and care nothing for the actual baby other than a vessel for them to live out their fetish and validation (they get off on the thought of breastfeeding for fucks sake). This is hugely why I do not want troons anywhere near children. Besides the obvious grooming they do (and how so many of them show pedophiliac tendencies), they clearly don't view children the same as women, mothers and nonmothers alike. They're just another pawn in getting off on their fetish and validation.
I really feel for the children who's dads troon out and force them to be a part of their mommy fetish, especially if they're a girl. AGPs get really creepy towards their daughters, from accounts I've read on the internet, especially when their daughter is going through puberty.

to me it looks like they usually hate both sexes at the same time, for different reasons (but they can overlap)
first they hate their real sex due to self hate (and transition to 'escape' it)
then they hate their new sex for not accepting them (for example mtfs get mega butthurt when women remind them that they'll never be real women)
and finally they hate whatever sex they're attracted to for not seeing them as their chosen new sex (for example ftms get super whiny when "cis gays" refuse to fuck them)
i dont think ive ever seen any kind of tranny have a positive view of or relationship with either sex

Expecting anything intelligent or inspiring from TvTropes nowadays is optimistic at best, considering that I can't read some trope pages without the page sneaking in a bit on how LGBTQ+++ people are oppressed when it really doesn't even belong. I feel theres a difference here. Today I watched a video about Brian Charlney, a schizophrenic british painter who commited suicide after a series of 17 “Self portraits”, as he slowly reduced his medication, and kept a journal of his thoughts during it.
In his diaries he talked about his thought being open and broadcasted to everyone, its a harrowing account of mental decline.
Meaningful art can come out of Schizophrenia.
