Reeeee I didn't consent to people talking about my birth sex!1

Note how consent matters here but not when it comes to dating troons. Just mentioning a troons biological sex needs consent but sex with troons doesn't.

Burns can rot in hell.

MtF/FtM couples are quite a combination. It's like a straight couple except backwards.

Yeah, pretty much all of my female friends in middle and high school were enamored with One Direction (and still are, as far as I can tell) and one of them in particular was 100% convinced that Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson were a secret couple, with various pieces of "evidence", including a tattoo that Harry got that supposedly represented him and Louis or some shit. The ship was called Larry Stylinson and had legions of female fans who were convinced that it was real and were convinced that there was going to be a grand "coming out" at some point. It's fucking deranged.

I feel you, r/dykesgonewild sucks so much.

"Our mission is to be an oasis from fetishization and sidelining" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAAHA
What is a "female-identified girl"? You can be "female-identified" but not a girl? What is a "nonbinary wlw"? You can be non-binary but a woman at the same time? What is a "queer wlw"? Doesn't "wlw" imply "queer" already? Did they have a minimum word count for the description and just threw in random words?

> It's an appeal to nature
An appeal to nature is an argument or rhetorical tactic in which it is proposed that "a thing is good because it is 'natural', or bad because it is 'unnatural'".
Who's talking about "bad" and "good" here? "Biological male" just means you were born a man, which is a fact.

> It's meant to permanently tie us to our birth sex without our consent.

You don't need consent to describe someone's physical characteristics. And yes, you are permanently tied to your life history.

> There is no difference between calling me a biological male and calling me a man.

Yes.

Whether we like it or not, our experiences are necessarily tied to our material bodies. There are a lot of things that can go wrong with them, and they can be improved and kept in good condition. But you can't transcend them or ignore that they exist. Knowing you are born biologically male gives you information on how to best care for your body, to know what problems might arise later on, regardless of whether you are on hormones. It DOES tie you permanently to your birth sex because we do not exist in a world where we can swap bodies. This is the one we have, and there are good health reasons to always keep in mind what we were born with. I can believe I was born with perfect eyes after I've had LASIK surgery, but I know I wasn't and that there are still issues to watch out for as I get older.

I think the distrust of the medical community is the oddest, saddest thing about a lot of trans discourse because it's encouraging the whole community to think doctors are trying to hurt them by treating their physical body as it exists.

Fionne's both that and a TERF. It's kinda weird to be both a TERF and a trans woman. But it's also weird for anyone to want to hang around radfems. She's a britbong anyway, what do you expect from a country where border controls and modern dentistry are foreign concepts?
For what it's worth, Fionne has nice enough teeth and is also an HSTS in the Blanchard-typology, in other words, homosexual. To my knowledge, with a boyfriend and everything. Miranda Yeardley and he have been pushing back against troonism for a while now and have made points of using the men's bathrooms. He's a good egg in the British sense of the term.

I was just watching the movie "Farewell My Concubine". What was interesting was seeing the parallels between the "Communist Cultural Revolution" and what's going on right now in social media. People are being denounced for statements they made several years ago, including statements that are totally reasonable and justifiable, or statements that are just opinions that cause no harm to anyone.
I absolutely loved that movie. I was at the Stasi museum in summer last year and the point made was that it was not the Stasi per se, but the fear that your loved one might be an informer, that kept people in check. Not wildly dissimilar to the effect social media is having on our discourse.

Jesus fuck guys you're not helping. I've agreed with the terves on this one for a long time, fucking drag queens are not appropriate for children. And no surprise that someone pushing this would want to diddle the kids as well. Anyone pushing sexualized content into childrens' spaces should be on a watchlist.

Think of it as the new "born again". Through the magic of troonery, you get an entirely new life free of the original sin of your old one.

It's more of the magical thinking that comes from troonery. You need to make at least a token attempt to change your gender for the above "born again" to work. Non-binary is an extension of that; it's for women who want the benefits of trooning or membership in the gender cult, but they don't want to be a man. Of course, some NB's don't want to be women either, hence the shedding of your old life.

Debrah doesn't even hate transgender/transsexual people. She's not at all a radical feminist. In fact, Soh is rather sympathetic and empathetic towards genuine individuals with actual gender dysphoria. She just doesn't believe that gender is a social construct and that there are more than two genders.
I thought "The End of Gender" was an extremely engaging read, even if it's really just a long essay in the form of a book. She's pissing of both radfems and troons, so I think she's doing something right. It's funny that she's so controversial - she's basically just saying that there are also biological foundations for behaviour as well as sociological. I thought that we were over the "nature vs nurture"-debate and had acknowledged this a long time ago, but that just shows how much I know.

This one is Ellen/Elliot Page's fault. Like, literally her fault.

I always look forward to your posts, but this one is something else. It's weird but somehow these actual women managed to make me more uncomfortable than all those dudes from before.

Are we sure the neckbeard (Toby) is trans? 'Cause he seems to have that whole fat incel look down to the t.

... Except transwomen are all those things. Most of their perception of womanhood comes from porn, they invade women's spaces and threaten to accuse them of being transphobes if they don't bend the knee, and they get expensive surgeries to mutilate their genitals.
I'm still confused by trans men in the Her app. If it's a lesbian dating app, and trans men are real men, shouldn't they be banned?
Funny how it works.
'Her' might as well stop focusing on being specifically for lesbians now if they're going to let troons and loonies on the app. Why even allow male and "they/them" pronouns if the app is called 'Her'?

Also lol @ the FTMs who don't make an attempt to pass. Ashley, you're not a man, you're just fat.
