All of these “interviews” are becoming copypasta at this point. Same shit, different day. The boy has absolutely no mind of his own and his mother isn’t creative enough to come up with anything different to say, even though Desmond is about to be 14 fuckin’ years old and should have thoughts and interests beyond Rupaul’s Drag Race.

BTW, Drag Race premiered in 2009 when Desi wasn’t even 2 yet. I can see a child that young being mildly entertained by the shiny things and music on that show, but not thinking “I want to be like them!” or having any real understanding of the show. More than likely, Fat Wendy saw the show, realized it was popular, and created her master plan.

Also, Desmond 100% did call Alig and clubkids his inspiration (it’s in the OP). Oh, along with Warhol because kids these days definitely know who that is.
 
Dammit, this kid is supposed to be building model railways and playing Fortnite with kids his age, instead of being carelessly used as a prop by his sick mom, or being perved on by grown men.

Do you guys think there's any chance that he'll ever break free from all of this, and get any kind of semblance of a normal life? He's scarred for life already, but surely he has better chances than David Reimer?

No, he's probably fucked for life. He'll end up murdering one of his abusers and then killing himself, at best.
 
I used to think Desmond would most likely end up getting abducted by one of his pedo groupies and then turn up raped and strangled in a dumpster behind some seedy gay bar, but the situation has gotten so protracted, the only two possible outcomes for him now are either suicide or picking up a nice sharp carving knife and going the Gypsy Rose Blanchard route.

Jokes, but whoever this actor is a dead-ringer for Desmond ~5-6 years ago. I hate that I had to do a double take when I saw it, cuz the kid in film is supposed to be inbred cannibal or something. Something uncanny how they have the same, despairing look in the eyes.

That’s David Dorfman, his big break came a year prior to Texas Chainsaw Massacre when he played one of the lead roles in The Ring. I guess he was the child emperor of American horror remakes for a short while. He has since retired from acting and pursued a career in international politics a la Shirley Temple.

"I went viral in the parade and there hasn't been anything as big since"...kind of sad. 'Peaking' at a young age over something so stupid.

He rambles about how awesome it is kids are getting into drag and then how he gets alot of support and thats 'awesome'

"Doing anything during Quarantine?" "Video Games." "Any in particular?" "no but I've been spending alot more time on video games". Wow...His first teenage answer complete with 'dont fuck with me bitch' look about which ones. Back off girl interviewer. You wouldn't understand. And an actual content smile...because he's talking about video games.

Any self care tips? He bathes.. he says 'He keeps the peace' which is an odd statement but then goes back into 'And play alot of video games'. When talk about skin care product comes up he literally hand waves the inteviewer away and says 'I just use the same products'. You'd think a "kid" that "wants to be an influencer" (and totally not being pushed to do all this by his mother) would reflexively name drop something.

"Just be yourself. Dont preach hate." After this he sort of just sounds like a normal kid. Talks about his birds which is probably the most appropriate thing besides the video games so far. He continues 'Mom is my Hero' and 'Drag is awesome' lunacy.

He wants to expand his platform and reach more kids. To me this kid has an expiration date and it was soon after the Parade Viral video. I feel bad for him because his entire focus and 'media appearances' are based on niche activities that no one is really interested in. I would also expect a kid thats genuinely interested in this stuff would do more with makeup? I know it sounds weird but its like he's doing the bare minimum...BECAUSE HIS MOTHER PUTS HIM UP TO THIS BULLSHIT.

Would be pretty funny if Desmond ends up having been straight this whole time and Wendy takes advantage of his autism to convince him otherwise for her fag hag fantasies. Not saying he’s straight or ever has been, just would be hilarious.

Poor thing, he's been totally groomed by his psychotic harpie mother. He seems to have very little actual interest in makeup. Imagine if you had a phase or hobby you were obsessed with when you were nine and your mother made you stick with it for the rest of your life.

Child pageantry is fucking sick and cruel. Making it drag doesn't make it "woke," and it certainly doesn't make it any more humane. This kid clearly just wants to play video games and hang out with his pets.

The "Mom is my hero" and the "Don't preach hate" stuff is just his default. It's what he says in every interview. Those words probably don't even have meaning to him anymore. I can't see the video rn (read: Don't want to because videos are always creepy. obnoxious and too long) but I wouldn't be surprised if he said these with no emotion or thought behind it. If he was ever excited about this that excitement has long fizzled out now, just another fucking interview he's gotta go to because mum said so. The beauty products and whatever outfit he's been "working" on? He probably doesn't even know the answer to that himself at this point.

People in this thread haven't been very hopeful, but I have a strong feeling that it's only a matter of time now before he lashes out and puts his foot down, whether we'll actually see any trace of this from the outside or not, only time will tell (probably not, maybe some radio silence before he shows up again looking more dead inside than before, if that's even possible).
