If they'd joined the Army, they'd have done two years as a private, serve in the supply corps valorously restocking water bottles, dodge a discharge for fighting at the commissary, and after discharge tell absolutely everyone they meet about their time in Afghanistan, being vague and hoping no one asks what they really did Over There.

Yeah, but the thing is I respect the supply corps anyway. As Napoleon said, "An army marches on its stomach." But of course, idiots like to lie about their service because they want to be heroes like in CoD.

You're right, I shouldn't have have maligned supply corps that way. But we've all met that one boot who distributes the tp at the commissary and seems to think that makes him not-POG.

I could be wrong, but wasn't the left's problem with Obama based on the (vaguely racist) assumption that Obama, being black, would be incredibly left wing and him being a pretty centrist guy?
