Edit: Also a funny potential side effect of all this if any of you give a shit about baseball, apparently the New York Mets' new owner is heavily involved (like "invested $2.7 billion" involved) in the hedge fund that the reddit autists are currently nuking. Would be funny if this is what kills their World Series chances.

The world will change whether anyone likes it or not. In some ways, the world is already changed by their mere existence, spitting in the face of an insider's market. That's called power.

The attentionwhore mooks with patreons that charged Capital Hill changed the world for the worse because someone else (the protestors' supposed opponents) wanted it to change. Along the way, some bitch got ahold of Pelosi's laptop and tried to sell it to China instead of just uploading the contents to the internet, and the only notable casualties are a cop (RIP), that one lady who got shot, and some deathfats who had heart attacks from "protesting" too hard. That's called embarrassing.

Good points, except for "changed the world for the worse" bit which was my point. The idea things got worse because of Capitol Hill is the last gasp of a seizing gray cell from a brainlet who forgot the "Trump Accountability Project" existed and who was advocating for it. CH didn't make anything worse. It was just an excuse to do what the powers that be wanted to do and would have done even if it never happened.

Of course, this happening is definitely superior, no doubt, but once there's another bailout or new legislature to protect these Wall Street gambling victims those self-flagellating fags from Capitol Hill threads will whine about it and blame r/WSB.
Remember: There are droves of people who actually blame sites like this one for "inciting" censorship in social media. Retardation is not rational.
