📚 Megathread Tranny Sideshows on Social Media - Any small-time spectacle on Reddit, Tumblr, Twitter, Dating Sites, and other social media.

Anyone remember the whole "Skirt go spinny" shit? :story:

@Dead Eye doesn't remember, what a boomer.
Alicia remembers:

When there was that shitshow a few years ago over the gay guy outing the transman on Survivor, they interviewed the dude and asked how he knew the contestant was transgender, and more or less said, "Duh just look at him."

I mean, he's not wrong.
Actually, I saw every episode Zeke was in over two seasons and I had no idea he was FTM. Honestly, I still don't really see it:

If he has scarring, it's well hidden by his chest hair. And yeah, I guess he has some fairly rounded hips for a man, but as a straight guy I don't make a habit of looking at men's hips unless I'm specifically directed to. If you told me in advance that one person on his season was transgender, I might land on Zeke, but there are a few others I'd suspect first (and yes, Debbie Wanner there on the right, I'm looking at you).

It's important not to fall for the toupée fallacy, where we think every tranny is clockable because, by definition, we don't clock the ones that aren't. And while it's easy to say "it's obvious" when you already know someone is transgender, it may not be nearly so obvious when you just encounter one in the wild and aren't looking for clues (obviously that last part does not apply to most of the lovely ladies who get featured in this thread).

Here's the video:

Maybe it's just me, but this chick (the ugly photographer one, not the tranny) seems incredibly insecure. Why would she make an entire video seething about some random tranny if she wasn't? Ironically, she looks pretty mannish herself
I see someone who lives up to their username..

That troon is wearing thick layers of foundation and make-up. Trust me. He doesn't look anything like that when he's bare faced. The "ugly" chick has absolutely nothing to feel insecure about.

I'm starting to think there's a bigger delusion than the one that tells them that men are women, and women are men: that everybody else agrees and only a small handful of nazi antifeminists are pushing back.
Are they wrong, though? Sure, the wast majority of people don't see troons as their "true" gender but does that matter if they're still willing to pretend they do?

She has a straight up hourglass figure, that is pretty obviously not a male body. And that's just a super faraway picture, I imagine if it were closer up you would be better able to tell as well.

But tbh, I have noticed that women and gay men tend to be a lot better at "clocking" trans people generally. I think the last time I checked, working theory is that it comes from having to be aware of the people around you at all time and alert for signs/signals that they might want to do you harm. Women learn at a young age to pay close attention to people's (men's, in particular) facial features, etc. to try to gauge mood and likeliness to do harm - this learning is part of female socialization. Gay people frequently (though not always) learn the same due to the risk of assault from homophobes. Straight men, obviously, aren't socialized this way.

(I want to clarify I don't mean this as an insult, it's simply a statement of fact: From my experience, straight men tend to consider trans people much more "passing" than women and gay people do. This isn't the first time I've seen a straight man go "hey that trans-identified person passes" and I look and it's immediately obvious to me and other women and gay people that they're trans.)

IME, absolutely zero trans-identified males pass in public, at least not to women. There are about five zillion different giveaways: Height, body size generally, hand/foot size, facial features, shoulder breadth, voice, general body language... Trans-identified females have a better chance because testosterone is insane in what it does to a woman's body, but there are still tell-tale signs: Height, body shape/size, hips, voice, body language, etc. It's not really that hard to tell.

I would also keep in mind that Survivor is a television show. So what you're seeing is heavily curated and edited. If you couldn't tell she was trans, they probably wanted it that way and chose shots with camera angles, focus, etc. that was flattering and made her look more masculine. If you met her in person, chances are you would be able to "clock" her instantly.

I looked at the video posted earlier and for me it was the eyes gave it away, you can always see the FTM in the eyes. Then when she opened her mouth it was obvious, the facial expressions, inflection and mannerisms were so clearly female. Just compare it to how the host speaks and holds himself.

There are definitely some FTMs that are hard to clock, but this one...eh, I assume everyone on the show realised pretty quickly.

Also straight guys are easily distracted by fake tits.

Some loser over on r/transmedical is tragically sad about the number of young girls trooning out. Not because they're ruining their healthy bodies; or because of the exploitation of vulnerable people by the medical industrial complex; or because of the medicalisation of normal human behavior. It is because they're no longer datable. Other losers on the sub agree.

This is one of those cases where true scum does seem like an accurate descriptor. The poster is an FTM who is feeling sorry about how she can't be her true male self.

What format should videos that we upload be in? I tried an MP4 but it came back with a "video format not supported".

HAHAHAHAHAHAAHHA!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!

Wow, looks like constantly attacking and predating on women, perving on girls, creeping out women on social media, appropriating teen girl culture, infiltrating women's groups... it all has consequences, huh?

Actually, I would not be surprised if that poster were banned for being a "Neo Natsee" because of the use of the phrase "crazy gender radicals".

Oh, look-- someone already called him a "TERF". Guarantee you the OP is now on a "watch list".

Must be awfully confusing at best to be treated with this pleasant facade by so many in your life for social brownie points or professional (in the case of teachers & social workers) obligations, while being given the subtle or not-so-subtle "Fuck off retard" treatment by most others. It's like the do-gooders have constructed a sort of Truman Show type grand deception for these people to buoy their self-esteem.
It's gotta wreck them mentally. Trooning out is like a monkey's paw wish. They get everything but the one thing they want the most: to be genuinely desired and accepted. You'll get a thousand likes on social media, you'll have everyone telling you how brave and stunning you are, you'll be really hard to fire from your job, you'll have the power to destroy people's lives with an accusation of transphobia, but something will still be missing.

A lot of the people who go trans are doing it because they don't like themselves and feel that no one else does either, and they figure the grass is greener on the other side of the fence. It's only when they get there that they notice how off-putting they are to other people, how even the wokest of their friends politely smile when they're around and forget to answer their texts. They get upvotes but none of their Internet supporters ever want to hang out in real life, they can get someone fired but they can't get a date.

The only friends they have left will be the ones sharing their madness, who they keep reassuring that they're beautiful and valid even as they make excuses for why they don't want to go out with them. And if they think a bit about why they don't want to date their trans friends they realize why no one wants them either, and at that point the only way out is to detransition and lose their remaining social network or join the 41%.

I wonder if this is why so many straight teenage girls are trooning out. Women don’t have to be celibate to avoid pregnancy if they’re lesbians! (Also, have you never heard of diaphragms?)

At the upper echelons of society — upper/upper middle class, white, socially adept jocks/cheerleaders, being male is advantageous. At a certain level down, though, it is (overall) better to be a woman. (I am a woman, btw). Black women are much more likely to earn a degree and much less likely to be shot by the cops than black men. White men are more likely to die of deaths of despair than white women. Asian guys make money but dating for them is horrible. Dorky autistic girls see the cool popular guys and want to be them but don’t realize if they had been born male they’d still be dorky and autistic and likely struggling even more socially.

Nah, I disagree... mainly because if you're a man at the lower end of the socioeconomic strata, you often have the option of higher paying blue collar jobs that require brute strength that automatically exclude women due to "must be able to lift 50lbs frequently". Women are normally shunted to ultra low-paying work like clerical work, cash register jobs, daycare jobs, draining servile customer service jobs, and even jobs that require intense care giving like CNAs and nursing home assistants get paid pitiful wages. Jobs that require college degrees like social work often pay shit wages. Even women who attempt to do "men's work" that pays more-- join the military, do heavy labor jobs, etc., often get injured by accident and end up having to leave. Women who go into tech often get pushed out and/or leave because they feel unwelcome (at least that's what I've read and heard from women who've been in it). Right now it seems the only "women" welcome in tech are tr00ns. All the boot camps have endless LGBTQXYZ+ scholarships, but absolutely nothing to offer for single mothers or low income women.

Less money = less power, less autonomy, less possibility of being able to escape abusive family/partner easily. Less ability to attract a long term partner who is also responsible. Women, including black women, have to worry about domestic violence, being trapped with a partner with no safe way out. Not implying every man is "violent", but domestic violence is way more common than people are willing to admit. I definitely think it has become a taboo topic in mainstream US media as of late, as most other first world countries are reporting epic rates of women getting beaten/murdered by partners during lockdown.

Personally, I see money and autonomy as more useful to a person than "fuck-ability" or "capacity to get a date". Honestly, some people would fuck a hole in the ground, so "being able to get a date" isn't really a huge advantage for a woman unless she's just looking for a quick lay. Personally, I'd be afraid of that kind of lifestyle, as I'd be wary of assault/rape/being forced to do something I don't want to do, STDs, unwanted pregnancy.
