You're probably right honestly. 90% of the "dirt" trans activists provide when they bother to show any is just some "TERF" going "hey liking makeup doesn't make someone a woman" or something like that.

I think it's ironic that you mention people convincing themselves they were at historical events they weren't, given that the trans movement as a whole has been trying to convince society that "lesbian transwomen of color" were at Stonewall when they absolutely were not and the "lesbian transwomen of color" they've somehow managed to convince everyone they totally knew were there a) were homosexual males (so not "lesbians" by anyone's definition), b) weren't trans, and c) weren't there. They're freaking experts at this manipulative game by now.
 
Eddie Izzard is definitely just a classic macho, ultra confident AGP. He's in exactly the same mould as other high-power troons like Martin 'Martine' Rothblatt (CEO of H&P). Pah it is just the boring "The Grass Is Greener" effect. Common in all stereotypically-male hobbies with hi-fi being the archetypical case.
