I don't know if Phil is stupid or just an asshole. Following his analogy with waiters and providing a (good) service, shouldn't he be playing games his audience wants (especially if he really needs that money)? He is telling everyone if you don't like the game, then just fuck off but then he still wants tips, whilst providing a shit service. If he just played TF2, SFV and other 'troll' games, it would be good service and his pigs would reward him for it.

Yeah he doesn’t even know what that phrase is. Also games are in development for a long time, they can’t predict the future, so even if they saw how badly other games sold they can’t do much about it.

This street fighter match from the other night is pretty interesting.

So here Phil claims the game allowed the enemy to get off moves while he "wasn't doing anything" "three times in a row". The first time is him getting grabbed out of blocking, which I don't know why someone who's played that much Street Fighter 2 (and abuses grabs) doesn't understand that. The second time however is really interesting if you frame through it: He's in a combo which he gets knocked out of, you see him block, the other Blanka does electricity which would be a whiff but if you look at the frames just before he's hit DSP PUNCHES (you can even hear the punch sound) and that causes him to get hit by the electricity. He insists he did nothing. The final time even with the naked eye and no frame by frame playback you can clearly see he lets go of block just before getting hit.

Lying to his audience or lying to himself? You be the judge.
