This is one of the replies to Digi's tweet and it annoys me so much. Digi has zero real life job experience other than working at Target once for a few weeks and acts like he's some sort of life coach that's got everything figured out. Not that his pseudo-intellectual guru shit is anything new. But you'd think, after all that's transpired, he'd finally come to conclusion that he's pretty fucking bad at life.

Marie Antoinette level of ignorance. "Let them eat cake"

edit: first paragraph redacted

Now I think it's adorable that Digi is so invested in Khantehnt and thinks this will really take off someday. Yeah, it might be mildly successful, but this shit as a full-time career for two people and maybe more? I'm not surprised to hear that from Digi, but is Nate actually this fucking retarded as well? Congratulations, you're doing the same thing RedLetterMedia is doing, but here's the thing: RedLetterMedia is actually a good channel. I know I'm just being a dick right now so let me explain why Khantehnt won't ever take off.

1. Their branding fucking sucks.
Was the idea to be as retarded as possible with this name and logo? I can't even describe how stupid this name is, both in how it looks for a brand and for something to screech at the start of every video. And then they found a really shitty font that only an edgy 4th grader would appreciate. They couldn't use their colossal fanbases to sucker a graphic artist to make something better than this?

2. They take yourselves way too seriously and aren't even good at talking about things.
Not that RLM shy away from actual discussion, but they come off like dudes who enjoy doing what they're doing. They easily bounce jokes off each other, improvise skits, go off on tangents and just generally have really good chemistry together. They're actually fun to watch. Digi and Nate don't have that. They're up front about how they're making these videos for the money. They don't actually enjoy doing this and it's clear. Their videos are bland, boring and almost entirely straight-faced, only occasionally letting out a mediocre joke. No one wants to listen to autism analytics and weird utilitarianism. And the funniest thing about this is how they're prone to saying the absolute dumbest shit sometimes. "Hurr durr why does this character suddenly have a different name and act completely different than we thought and isn't questioned by the MC, surely this just isn't a completely different character and we're wrong! :P" RLM have way more attention to detail and don't screw up the most obvious things. Probably because they actually give a shit.

3. RLM got a lot of its initial popularity because of particular things they were passionate and good at talking about.
Khantehnt doesn't have this. The only crutch to this channel is the people they are and the fans they've accumulated but are quickly running out of. Digi's last video to break just 50k was almost six months ago--not counting the Asterisk War reupload. Nate scattered his appeal by letting up on analysis and making meme videos instead. RLM will always be known as the Star Wars and Star Trek guys. What does Khantent have, and what could it have? All they are doing is riding whatever is currently relevant and praying that something's momentary success will carry them somewhere. They have nothing to fall back on and nothing to convince a new audience with. Again, they might be mildly successful, and in some ways they are, and hey prove me wrong, but they are going nowhere at this rate. And given how Digi is infamous for giving up projects after a couple months whether they work out or not, I'm confident in how this story will end.

But potheads are at the best annoying, acting like their hallucinogenic is heaven-sent and making it a part of their personality makes them difficult people to be around as well as lazy.
like most things in life it's fun in moderation but doing a ton of it to cope with being a horrible person does no one least of all yourself any good.

edit weed is a depressant not a hallucinogenic
Weed is sort of a depressant, sort of a stimulant, and sort of a psychedelic - all depending on what you buy and who you ask. which, leads into...
Ah, ok. So it's more like the way Digi uses it is rubbing people the wrong way. I don't fully keep up with him, but from what I've seen, he never pushed out an image that he smokes all day everyday. I may have missed somethin along the way.

Anyone know why he's so shaky, though? Like always jittering around his legs like he just drank 3 redbulls? I don't think that's weed related, but is is suspicious.
I think digi is in the early stages of schizophrenia. It leads to those weird jerky movements like that. The other thing about that is that schizophrenic people tend to love weed, even though it generally makes them crazier. He's also started smoking cigs a lot, and they also basacialy all love cigarettes.

give some credit to May where it's due. I thought she was superglued to Digi's nuts, but it's actually kind of nice to hear that she took off. I don't really give a shit whether or not she was secretly pulling the strings on Digi's transitioning or whatever else they've been doing, good on her for abandoning this sinking ship. Since you're most likely reading this, May, allow me to say that I genuinely don't give the slightest of fucks about you or what you do from now on, but I respect you a little as a person now.
May enabled Digi and fed into his delusions for years and abandoned ship when even she couldn't stand what she fed into anymore and couldn't leech off him comfortably. It's not respectable at all.

This is the last thing I'll ever post most likely, but whatev, I just don't like seein a good relationship end up like this. I don't know if it'll help ya'll but it helped me 10+ years ago, and I'll never forget how it changed my life for the better. Hope digi reads and acts on it, but I know this isn't how the world/internet works. Heck, I don't even know the people I'm talkin to. It really is parasocial, but wtf. Who cares? Idc.

If you love May, chase her. Don't let her go. Keep an open conversation going until you come to terms with what's going on with ya'll. Don't let miscommunication between ya'll ruin what could've been an amazing life long relationship. I know you're both going through things, and ideas you didn't have before we got here. The best advice I ever got from my one and only life long partner, chase her. Don't give up until you're forced to. Hopefully you love her enough to do that.
I, too, watched Chasing Amy.

Counterpoint: Shit ends for a reason. If you get back together, the reason will still be there, somewhere, waiting to come up again. Maybe it was her, maybe it was you, maybe it was both, maybe it was a third party, doesn't matter. It'll always be there, if not in an active capacity, then as a resentment.
Never do sequels.
You lived just fine before meeting her, you can live without her.

I'll delete that part of my post. It's not something I really care about or take any side on.

The shaky movements in schizophrenia are actually a side-effect from anti-psychotics, rarely the disease itself. But I do agree, his
I could be wrong, but my understanding is that it was kinda both. You can get tremors from the meds, but also different tremors when your off them. That's what happens to my cousin who has it, anyway.

I know a lot of you degenerates love your weed, and I used to get high everyday for awhile, but you can look at digibro and see that this harmless plant was the thing that caused his downfall. Before he was on the reefer digi was putting out content and probably meeting some demands of his patrons. Since he started smoking weed he became a tranny and stopped making content that anyone enjoys. Weed turned digibro into a tranny and destroyed his career.

You can blame May for planting the seeds of troonery into his head but it was the ganja herb that let these seeds flourish. The negative effects of weed are clear to see looking at digibro, and match up quite well with this description (2 min video) given by Dr. Sam Hyde:

I could be wrong, but my understanding is that it was kinda both. You can get tremors from the meds, but also different tremors when your off them. That's what happens to my cousin who has it, anyway.
It depends what you mean by "shaking" to be honest. The DSM-V recognises restlessness as a symptom of schizophrenia but that's usually accompanied by catatonic behavior as well. The shaking caused by the meds has a characteristic appearance as well. But then again, I wouldn't rule out Substance-Induced Psychosis in Digi's case.

Say what you say about him, but he had a few decent or funny videos back then. Watching him deteriorate to the point of his videos now being unwatchable thanks to his new voice & attitude is still a little depressing.

Whelp, after wasting a precious 39 minutes I could have used masturbating and crying, i'm here to say, yup, this the pinnacle of Khantent and that's just upsetting.

The first minute alone is just them making a le wacky """""apology""""" because why be mature when acknowledging your mistakes when people are actually giving you criticisms? Then they go on to say how it doesn't matter if they get stuff wrong, because their points are still applicable (As long as you ignore their criticisms towards the writing and plot, you know, a good 70% of their opinions) and that's when I basically tuned out.

Instead of being an interesting and compelling podcast like Half in the Bag or a funny and half hearted one like Is It Kino, it's just a boring one where the hosts aren't even interested in the media they're talking about anymore. at this point, they should just pack up, sell the shit they bought just for the podcast and end this business venture before they invest too much into it.

She's dropped the zero and is ready to get with a hero

Look you gotta pity her a tiny bit imo... She gets with a guy and sure they may not be Chad's and Stacy's but they aptopeared have similar interests and then he starts the transition shit and suddenly she's got a girlfriend she never signed up for. I dbon't lame her for leaving, I can't imagine digi was don't much for her in the bedroom. She'd probably tried being accepting but no girl wants to bang a cock in a frock.

Here's to Josh and her hooking up and Josh feeding her up on corn til he balloons to 600lbs

I am sure that part of May's attraction to Digibro is due to the fact that she is a very plain looking girl, and whatever you might want to say about Digibro, he is not the boring "average guy" that someone like May would normally have as a dating prospect. Digi lived a lifestyle where he woke up whenever he wanted, ate whatever he wanted, traveled whenever he wanted, was outspoken, and spoke to an audience of thousands (sometimes tens of thousands) of people on a regular basis. He had the kind of freedom to do what he wanted, when he wanted, and got paid to talk about things he genuinely enjoyed. Unfortunately, that kind of lifestyle takes a lot of discipline and mental stability that Digi did not have.
I think digi is in the early stages of schizophrenia.
Isn't 29-30 too old to be in "the early stages of schizophrenia"? I believe schizophrenia tends to show up in the early 20's.
