Interesting thing about all the third genders around the world troons like to talk about is that 9 out of 10 those genders are only available for men. You'd think that if third genders were so natural they would occur in both female born and male born people, but nope, somehow they occur most in male born people who are feminine or gay and who live in cultures with strict gender roles and homophobia.

As someone who's from a culture with third gender(s). I'd agree with you. I'd also say that "gender" is not natural. Sex is natural, there might be some variant in social roles between sex that's biologically based, but how we contextualise it through gender lenses is not universal to all human culture.

While we've technically got both male and female version of third gender - it is heavily related to being a gender-nonconforming homosexual in a very societal way than a fragmented identity. Though the idea of being born in the wrong body is spoken colloquially - it is not seen as a rigidly defined truth. Most third genders from my culture can acknowledge their biological sex. That people can still see even the very passing ones (if they know they're "trans") as deeply their true sex, and they know that they can't truly become another.

This is one of the reason I do not believe in the concept ot gender identity after living in two cultures that contextualise gender nonconformity very differently. In fact the way western countries frame transgender identity as essential and innate medical identity. That transwomen "should be seen" as identical to biological women and recognised that way legally is an unfamiliar idea to me. And the existence of non-binary identity was born from the framework. To say that someone is non-binary requires the believe that there's a binary in the first place. And third gender in these cultures with it, they operate in their own separate framework that's outside the psychiatric identity way we see transgenderism in the west.

Tucute and transmedicalists to me, are two sides of the same coin. The concept works because of the societal structure that allow the idea that presentation/the labelled identity can override the reality of actual sex to take hold in the first place.

It's actually horrifying to think that perhaps in 20 years the next generation of troons might actually pass with the whole advancement in technology and medicine or whatever.

The only way troons will be able to pass in the next 20 years is if science somehow manages to figure out how to completely change the entire human genome and we become able to edit people’s DNA.....which would be absolutely useless to troons anyway because that’s the kind of shit that can only truly work BEFORE someone is born (if it works at all) before their body fully forms during gestation. So scientists would have to somehow know which embryo will end up becoming a tranny and edit their DNA accordingly.

Like another user said, the drugs that troons currently use to “transition” are all repurposed. They weren’t initially created for troons. And this is the same pathway for transitioning that troons have been using since the days of Christine Jorgensen.

And even if troons “pass better” they will still never be the opposite sex, and that fact alone will always be enough to make them angry.
