WRONG. A victim owes nothing, absolutely nothing to the Sinner.
If person A is walking down the street and person B throws a rock at their head, does person A owe something to person B? Absolutely not!
If person A is injured in a car accident by person B does person A owe something to person? No, even a secular court would look at them like they are crazy for implying that. Person B owes person A damages.
Your thinking is corrupt, and against Hebraic ethics, to say the least
Who said anything about owe? That's not what Jeezy Creezy was on about. He's talking about doing good by other people regardless of how they treat you. Should they strike you, turn them the other cheek. Should they steal your coat, offer them your shirt as well. Demonstrate that you are the better person through deeds.
You're really not familiar with what Iesus Christos/ Yeshua bin Joseph/ Yeshy the Meshy was all about, Mel.
No, it's simply what one person owes to the other for sinning against them
But in your purported system, paying the debt absolves the sin, so forgiving the debt should do the same.
Forgive them what? Their sin debt according to Numbers 5:5-8.
No, just their sins. Jesus wasn't big into the whole renumeration for sin concept.
You're trying to make The Messiah into a false prophet. There is not one place in The Torah where anyone can forgive another human's sin.
And yet, Yeshua Christos McSonofMan said you should do it. He said you should treat others as you should wish to be treated. He said that forgiving someone their sin against you would make YHWH forgive your own. By Yeshua's own words, your refusal to forgive others their sins marks you as not among those that will be bless by El.
All sacrifices for sin were brought through the Temple door and laid on an altar, to make atonement for sin before Elohim. Not a single person had the power to forgive another's sin - not Moses, not priests, not prophets. No one but Elohim.
But El through the messiah commanded his followers to forgive one another, forgive apostates, enemies, heathens, everyone. El asks for a symbolic sacrifice of your grudges, for you to forgive others of their sins and let go of your grievances as atonement for your own sins.
I see BTW you've started using "the elohim" and "Christian Elohim" like it's a title. Again, Elohim is the name for a specific group of deities, later condensed into a singular deity, often also called YHWH or referred to as "God" by many of his followers. It is not a generic title or classification like god or christ is. It is a specific name, and you make yourself look very silly every time you use it incorrectly.
