I don't think that Shoe was approaching this relationship from a "IT Couple" or "Youtube thing" as she was always in a much better place than Greg was socially. If that was her aim, she probably could have aimed a fair bit higher than him.

Greg probably was into it for a while - Shoe was famous and not horrific looking, weird and kinky. He got a career boost and got to delve into some deviancy at the same time. It seems like he was never likely into it for the "long haul", which is understandable. A long distance relationship centered on kink/youtube has a very small shelf life. There's only so much kinky sexting that you participate in before you get bored in Greg's case start low-key texting trannies.

She seemed far more desperate to me throughout the entire time, and Greg didn't seem to have any interest at all to keep it going. He almost definitely wanted to wear her out, to make her break up by ignoring her, but probably she wouldn't get the hint and he had to end it. Either way, it was essentially him breaking up with her.

Also speaking from experience here.

Something bugged me about the note from Greg....

I spent a lot of time debating if I should write this - but some people have already made this their business and I want to make sure you hear it from me and not from an image-board like usual.

Who would have thought when you turn your relationship into a public side show, airing out all your private moments and whatnot that some people would get invested in the drama?

Two people who've never been able to take responsibility for anything still can't. Imagine that.
 
Shoe will come out on top, sure greg broke it off by her birthday but you know that just means she gets all of the fans now and a ton of sympathy points. She was always more popular and now the question is will she find some wealthy fan of hers to settle down with or will she continue to try find someone growing in popularity or more popular than her to latch on to.

Also she's going to have a lot more disposable income now that she doesn't have to pay for Gregs star wars toys.

I think the fact first right wing people and now left wing people are going to a scene emo girl and a coomer for political commentary really shows to us the power of the online echo chambers, and in June's case, the power of pussy and some round, big, beautiful, young tits -so powerful that even this thread had simps for June. People are capable of overlooking anything to hear "Orange man bad/good", we really live in the Autism era.

Greg's excuses were bullshit, but I expected nothing more. He didn't love June. He'll likely never love any woman enough to make drastic changes to his mediocre life. I don't buy for a second that their relationship would've lasted if they were in the same place. There isn't a woman in the world that can convince Greg to grow up, find steady employment, and start planning for marriage and kids. All of these decisions have to be made on his own, and I doubt he'll ever make them.

Anyway, I'm more interested in June's future since she's less predictable. Her next relationship will be entertaining to watch. She's definitely not getting married by 30 now, so let's see how she'll handle that.
