The best thing he could do would be to open comments and get more active over on CWJT. He could make pretty decent coin if he would just take himself a little less seriously and try to just have fun with his videos. People would probably leave fewer troll comments too. One thing he would do if he were smart (other than turning on comments) is to set up a patreon with a special tier, say like $25 a month or so, that would be limited to like 15 slots, and everyone in that slot gets to send him one recipe a month that he will make and try on the show. It can be any recipe, as long as it contains ingredients that are safe for human consumption. Anyone could send him recipes that he could decide to make, but everyone in that special tier would be guaranteed to get one recipe a month. I know of artists who use this system to take commissions on patreon and it works really well, makes it competitive.
