Just because you say something doesn't make it true. Like this. What about indifference? I mean, you see either/or, which, aside from all the other indicators , marks you down as a bit basic.
no such thing as indifference or shades of grey or neutrality.
let me give you an example.
let's say your being attacked. you got jumped on the streets
and there is a male next to you, stranger,
and he stands by and watches, he is neutral.
would your brain say that is okay?
rephrase, if you met this person in the future and they asked you for a favor, would you do it?
probably not.
problem here is the brain will reinterpret neutrality as "well he/she COULD have helped me but they didn't so they are my enemy."
brain is hardwired to resolve neutrality, resolve shades of grey. make a definitive yes/no, good/bad decision.
this is why the US declaring sanctions on Japan before WW2 was considered an act of war by the Japanese, not viewed as neutrality.
Likewise this explains why the liberals always preach equality but in practice enact inversion.
e.g. 1950s: sex before marriage was not okay.
liberals said don't judge. be neutral
BUT IN PRACTICE, an unconscious bias was created against people who we're whores,
"omg you're prude. have you finally done it? home base? etc."
they never got equality, never stay in shades of grey, final result was inversion,
we went from no sex before marriage = good to being a whore = good.
