Killmonger's backstory is basically that of a turbospook, the Navy Seal copypasta but played unironically. In fanwanking him to be some Maoist 'antihero' they've lionized someone who not only participated in evil wypipo imperialism but did so very enthusiastically, it's not completely implausible that he came to regret what he did and did a 180 but it seems pretty contrived.

The thing is, she's supposed to be the smartest person in the MCU. Then again, the writers don't even pay attention to the other movies (like when she asked Banner why they didn't design Vision a certain way and he replied "we didn't think about it" when it was Ultron who built him, not Banner/Stark.)

It just doesn't make much sense since A) there was never any evidence to suggest he was mistreated because of his race and B) he clearly had no problem with mass murder.

Most intelligent, and yes I agree that's a stupid informed attribute. But also may I present to you Tony Stark, who is probably the best example fiction has to offer of "Being intelligent doesn't necessarily make you smart."

Edit: To clarify, I'm saying that her being an engineering genius and a dumbass teenager are not mutually exclusive and that's actually a fairly realistic bit of writing if they did it on purpose.

That joke is stale anyways. They'd been making it for months prior to tying it to Trump, and even then it was lame. I cannot imagine that anyone under the age of 60 watches SNL or any broadcast TV, so maybe they are banking on their target audience being less than discerning.

As far as I know, no black race riot has ever resulted in repercussions except to the people trying to stop them. During the LA Riots the National Guard arrested people trying to defend themselves from looting blacks, but didn't touch a single black looter.
