Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

I don't think that it would be an overstatement to say there are somewhere in the 5 to 30 million true believers in the US alone, immune to any intellectual realization, and coasting for the rest of their lives off a bitter, sadistic impulse where the only real meaning they have is a sort of power-eroticism to stamp on a human face forever.

They'll never see the light, no, but, they will lose their ill-gotten power as the institutions they infest burn as the common person decides to just ignore them. In only the last 5-8 years we've seen the news media, university and entertainment empires pushed to the brink or destroyed outright from their poisonous brand of ideology.... they'll never stop being SJWs, but they will, sooner rather than later, find it impossible to LIVE off the proceeds of being one. They won't be paid if they can't get results, and applied SJWism is running out of it's ability to get results between people abandoning the cultural franchises that embraced it (Disney's Soy Wars, Marvel Comics' All-New Woke-Warriors, Gillette telling men they weren't civilized enough to deserve their razors....) and courts slowly but surely dismantling Social Justice mandates as incompatible with real justice (DeVoss about to neuter Obama's Kampus Kangaroo Kourts, the Supreme Court telling the lesbians to leave the poor baker alone, Oberlin getting a $22 million bill for being too woke, etc)

The dirty old hippies never thought they were wrong, but they did lose their influence within their own lives.

Okay so I'm a page late but why is it so hard for the TES tryhards to come up with an actual argument when they jump on our thread. Like 9/10 times it's just "you like trump how can you?" or "lol trump is exceptional" I mean it's never about his policy, it's never bringing up sources or information it's just half assed article titles at best.

I don't mind a challenge it's just they seem to of lost their ability to do it.
They get stuck sometimes, help them out with something actually funny to laugh at about Trump, or some crazy Trump supporters. It's not as if they don't exist.

I mean it's not really a place for serious argument, it's (nominally) for laughing at Trump and his supporters. You don't have to dislike Trump to post there. And honestly, I think they could use a laugh...

"Y-y-you were, you were prepared for that!"

Yeah weird it's almost like journopigs are fucking predictable. That low-key outrage though, how dare she actually prepare for their attempted gotchas.

Aw, poor guy. He was so looking forward to doing a lap of honour around his loungeroom when he got home... At least until his wife's boyfriend told him to sit down cause he's blocking the TV.

Man, I wish we could go back to the liberal of 2005 and forget about the crazy banshee neo-libs that replaced them.

I honestly think that 2016 made a good amount of liberals jump ship after they saw how destructively crazy the people they followed got.
PL, but that’s kind of what happened with me. I was around 16-17, so pretty liberal at the time, and listened to a bunch of standup and podcasts, but then the election happened. One that really sticks out is Christopher Titus and his podcast. I genuinely still like his comedy and his old show, but his podcast became nothing but ‘Sweet Potato Hitler’ talk and it just wasn’t fun.
People who were more in the middle to middle-left just got tired of the far-left screaming all the time, so just kind of drifted away. That’s what I’ve noticed, anyways.

I've actually noticed the opposite with my friends and family who were center left Bill Maher people in the mid 2010's turn into the banshee liberals.

I also was sheltered by this when I went to college in a red state during the early months of Donald's presidency, but when I came back after the first semester, I find that my family dynamic had basically become completely changed due to TDS and all my old friends could talk about was Donald this and Donald that.

I just find it interesting how much people change in dynamic and political ideology in just a few months due to an event like this.

Part of the derangement is that they thought it was over in 2012. Once obama was president, demographics were destiny, there would never be any icky republicans in power ever again.

And then cheeto hitler won and shattered that dream.

Eh, there’s some good arguments against him. But, there always is with anyone.
He had around three years to put up The Wall, or at least make significant progress, but that’s kind of on the back burner. He’s not Democrat levels of gun grabber, but he sure isn’t helping much. I don’t like how he’s handling this virus, but I don’t like how anyone is in the first place. You get the idea.
But, TDS isn’t when someone is Left, it’s when they are so insane about Trump that it’s a spectacle and they do things they ordinarily wouldn’t.
That's how I feel about him tbh.

Hey niggas, professional cuck Brian Stelter has a new book coming out and its going to be the most cringe worthy book since MovieBob’s Brick by Brick.

The eunuch crybaby who probably screams at the chyron operator's doing it because he knows CNN is tottering and he needs money. That and attention; he'll almost certainly use CNN to push his shitty book no one will read or even buy.

Have we really reached that point where stoicism is seen as evil? wouldn't it be more virtuous to keep a stiff upper lip than to let emotions take over and makie one irrational?
World War One, it taught the artistic world that when two nations steeped in such virtues fight they create hell on earth, and of course they blamed the virtues. Seriously, look at the changes in art after WW1, it's like a nuke was dropped on it. Eventually this filtered into the rest of academia and the mind of every smug hipster.

Here is the thing, what you cite here as "Good Arguments" are factually wrong.
The wall: He tried consistently throughout the first 3 years. Congress initially refused to pass funding, then individual states, organization, and people sued him over it, consistently getting stays of action from the courts. The reason he has only been able to start now is because those stops which were out of his control have finally failed and slowed down. So that there is simply not his fault.

Not Helping Gun grabbing: I can give you the stupid stock ban, but beyond that... what do you expect him to do as the Executive? This is largely a Legislative issue, the executive can huff and puff but it'd be pointless. It also would be spending political capital he simply doesn't have enough of to use around freely. The only thing he really can do is continue to get judges that will counteract it.

Handling The Virus: Name one thing he could realistically have done or do better? Whether you think this disease is Armageddon or less serious than the common cold, the fact is it was lied about by the chinese, he attempted to block travel early despite having very, VERY little political capital because of a sham impeachment, and the data on the disease was frantic and confusing even for the expert. At least from my point of view, while there is plenty he might have done differently, none of it is a realistic expectation because of the data we had at the time. Hindsight is 20/20, and in this case its hindsight by information only known well after the fact.

My own issues with the man mainly stem from me just disliking him as a person. But that doesn't mean he is bad at his job, just that he is a bit of a dick.

I can’t wait to see it not sell. I bet the three people who read it will be riveted.
But seriously, those are the kinds of books people buy but never get around to reading.

I'd really like to see undoctored number of units bought by the public of these TDS books. Whenever I'm in a Barnes and Noble, they'll have a big display of them front and center and it never looks like more than 2 or 3 are missing from the shelf.

Most of them are bought by libraries, but it never makes up the cost of the publisher's advance. It's essentially a money laundering scheme so that left-liberals can be paid millions in salary by their financiers while also seeming to have a normal career.

They're niggles, I'll admit that.
The wall has been going forward, but slower than I would like. It's not really his fault, though. My worry is that it will end up as a giant pile of burning money if it goes up too slow, especially if he doesn't get a second term.
The bump stock ban does piss me off because I don't like any infringement, but I am an outlier when it comes to gun rights.
As for the virus, I think that all this money we've been printing and signing off on is a recipe for disaster. Everyone in power is fucking us, one way or another, not just Trump
