Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

Eh, there’s some good arguments against him. But, there always is with anyone.
He had around three years to put up The Wall, or at least make significant progress, but that’s kind of on the back burner. He’s not Democrat levels of gun grabber, but he sure isn’t helping much. I don’t like how he’s handling this virus, but I don’t like how anyone is in the first place. You get the idea.
But, TDS isn’t when someone is Left, it’s when they are so insane about Trump that it’s a spectacle and they do things they ordinarily wouldn’t.
But moooooooom, researching and talking about policy is so boring. And Sarah from school gets a lot of likes on her Facebook when she screams KIDS IN CAGES and posts danke impeachmemes, why do I have to do look things up to talk about them? It's not fair, I hate you! :'(

My 'tism aside, like you said there are many complaints one can make about Trump. The thing is, most people don't. It's always the hyperboles, the insults, the misrepresentation of what he said and such. Hell, it's been what, around three months now? And they're always complaining about how badly Trump botched the response to the Coronavirus (look at the polls*, everyone agrees!). But I've yet to see anyone say what he should have done differently, they just intrinsically know he did it wrong.
Calmly discussing Trump and stating your opinion in what he did wrong goes straight against virtue signaling and doesn't give the complainer the same social media clout as just screeching the approved opinions of the week. You can't show the world just how good of a person you are if you are not filled with righteous fury and indignation to everything Drumpf does because he's so clearly evil why are you trying to argue with him are you a MAGA idiot.

* poll answered by 137 people in New York City, 134 identified as registered Democrats and 3 were inside a Starbucks and answered "Nah, I don't really like Trump" when we asked

I hope they change them each year or so, imagine if Bill Clinton could still get in there.
You don't know how anything works, do you?

You know what they say about "if you're not a liberal when you're young..."? Well i can see you're going to be a liberal for a long, long time.

Okay so I'm a page late but why is it so hard for the TES tryhards to come up with an actual argument when they jump on our thread. Like 9/10 times it's just "you like trump how can you?" or "lol trump is exceptional" I mean it's never about his policy, it's never bringing up sources or information it's just half assed article titles at best.

I don't mind a challenge it's just they seem to of lost their ability to do it.
Because it’s a fucking forced meme. You can tell because the only place that qualifies as as full of actual TES is r/the_donald, and no shit I’m going to mock people on a place that says that Trump fucking your wife or unironically sucking Trump’s dick is BASED AND REDPILLED. That and boomer facebook, which is also a laughingstock as well. So basically they have to ham it up in order to justify the thread existing, which is why this thread has 3000+ pages since there are actual lunatics that think that a somewhat arrogant New York real estate mogul is the next coming of Hitler versus theirs having like 100-200 l, mostly full of things that are cringy but not even close to TES. I still remember that retard that licked a toilet to say “Fuck Trump” during the 2016 election. I have yet to see that from people either ambivalent to, supportive of or even more mildly opposed to Trump. It’s basically just a microcosm of the left literally not understanding how a meme should work by writing 15 paragraphs of text versus “WHEN U KILL NIGS”, but even more blatant.

Have you ever been to their thread? That is all they do in it. Heck, they even follow the talking points from Twitter. Remember when the TDS crowd was talking about how true Christians would never vote for Trump? Guess what they were saying?

There are no good left-wing arguments against Trump. The only substantive critiques of his administration are ones that admit that America First Nationalism is a good thing and critique his failure to deliver on a truly America First agenda.

There are. For example, he gave the CIA carte blanch with the drone program. Most modern democrats aren't actually left-wing, however, so they don't care.

Umm...

I mean that's a lot of progress. But people have to remember, we have a divided government. There's only so much he can do if Congress doesn't give him the funds to do it. We elect a president, not a king.

This reminds me of the recent Goldberg podcast I was listening to, at which point his TDS apparently got so bad, his wife called him out on it. (Jump to 3:50 on that.)

Anyway, the whole podcast is a good example of liver and ice cream. Jonah will go and make a really excellent point: Like how everybody wants to be rebels nowadays. Nobody wants to be in charge or take responsibility, they always want to be "outside the system" and have no ideas on how to actually run the system or what to do with it once they are in control.

Which he's right, a lot of people do be like that. But then he keeps going to Trump as this big example. 1) How can he not see all that Trump is trying to actually do and accomplish stuff? 2) He seems to seriously believe that nobody is opposing or fighting Trump on his agendas.

Like dude! You were Mr. Federalism and limited government and all that for years. Why are you now making arguments against Trump like he's an Imperial president? It only gets funnier because Jonah repeatedly goes on and on about how he wants to stick to his principles and be a truth teller, etc etc - but as we can see, he will unwittingly go against his principles all the time. (or at least, his paradigms)

This president man... what is up with how he breaks people?

He breaks people because he’s a pro-wrestler. People who praised Obama for being ‘put together’ and ‘good at speeches’ can’t deal with an actual showman.

Umm...

I mean that's a lot of progress. But people have to remember, we have a divided government. There's only so much he can do if Congress doesn't give him the funds to do it. We elect a president, not a king.

A divided government that fought him tooth-and-nail for every mile of fence and every dime of funding in the hopes he'd just give up, so all things considered, 300 new miles of fence, in 4 years, when ZERO got built in the preceding decade means that it's practically built, it's going to get done, and the Dems have long since stopped even talking about it because it only draws attention to the fact that it was their own foot-dragging that drew it out this long, and bringing up "he didn't give you your Wall" for 2020 will just be thrown back in thier faces with "Get me a Republican Congress and it'll be done tomorrow" and they KNOW it . Note how Biden hasn't said SQUAT about the wall or "kids in cages"? It's because it's a dead and over issue.

They banked all on being able to frustrate him into giving up or turning the tide of public support against it with "kids in cages" bad-optics before it could get to the USSC where they knew they'd lose. The President DOES have the power to direct congressional-allocated resources towards securing the border, to legally suggest he doesn't and can't spend fairly-allocated money for national defense ON national defense that parts of congress simply don't like, is (and was) madness. They were just hoping he'd lose public support to the degree he'd have to withdraw the challenge before the refs watched the replay....

But, Trump's unshakable stubbornness, refusal to play the optics game and the piss-poor behavior of the NGO-backed caravans that only made people WANT them in cages (littering, rioting, rejecting charitable handouts as "pig food", admitting the first thing they'd do when they hopped the fence was apply for asylum and welfare.... putting kids and women in front to eat the tear gas rounds first.... etc) put the kibosh on any anti-Wall momentum doing that.

The only hold-up now is the grind through the courts to get imminent domain matters settled for the last parts, which also can be frustrated, but ultimately not stopped - the Feds clearly have the ability to take your land w/ compensation if it's in the way of public works....

He WON, by any and all measures, against the full weight of every legal obstruction and every false narrative to sway the public that could be mustered against him.... it's why they've been reduced to crying about his uncouthness and demanding he be impeached over things they dreamed he might do for 3 long years... .because the usual tactics that always worked against Neocons and Fundies failed to do anything this time... petered out after a year, and to admit that is to admit the era of PC/IDPOL is over.

1. Twitter turned leftists brains to mush.
2. Obama didn't help since anyone who critiqued Obama was called racist.
3. We have an actual crisis where all there positions would have made things worse.

Open Borders: Hundreds of thousands of untraceable people flooding cities and communities, overloading resources and having no ties to the community? You can't act against them lest you be called "racist"? How could this end badly when I virus is running amok?

Universal Healthcare: Make a promise that medical care will be available when you need it then rescind it when there is a "crisis"? Every Karen in the country would be demanding to speak to the manager.

Keeping us bound to other nations through our supply chains? Now their problems are our problems. Especially when they stop delivering.

Leftists are being taught that when a crisis happens, all goodwill from your fellows disappears very, very quickly.

I don't get their mental gymnastics- Opening the economy is about the Dow and being Bad Orange Man's sacrificial lambs- but with that chart and the knowledge of the swine flu pandemic, doesn't it potentially insinuate that Obama&Co. kept the economy open during the Swine Flu pandemic to also ensure the continual rise of the Dow? Or would they just reason it as "Superior Black Man single-handedly defeated the virus in hand-to-hand-combat and saved the economy?"

It's almost amazing how Mueller-cultists have some strange parallel patriotism despite evidence showing that their heroes have subverted America's institutions.

Is this a boomer characteristic?

No. Just how people in general are wired. People won't notice how hypocritical they are when scenarios are framed a certain way.

I had a leftist on Facebook post the Homer Simpson Antifa Meme when Sanders dropped out. Two weeks later he was complaining that Trump was going after the FBI, Mitt Romney and CNN. He evidently forgot that two weeks prior he was all set to throw molotovs at cops because he was pissed at the establishment then was aghast when Trump attacked the establishment.

fcY2S3SzWp1QXEG1.mp4

That was the biggest bitch-slap I've seen all year.

This just seems... Backwards? The government is supposed to supply the story then the press pokes holes in it.

Now we have the government seemingly poking holes in the presses story.

I'm noticing the more "civilized" we get, the more things become a free for all.

Death star is trending on twitter. The msn is saying Trump's reelection manager called the campagin that. But he's saying the media is called it Death Star originally. What's the story?

Inside the Death Star, sitting on a throne of skulls, Mitch McConnell confirms his 8999th judge.

Man, Trump's side sounds really metal, I know I'm voting for them! Thanks MSM!

This is kind of like when IdPol Strasserists try to use insults directed to them back, but unlike them, it's actually funny he's rolling with it because it's clear he isn't mad and in fact amused they gave him that much power in their minds.

Parscale you magnificent fuck, I've read your shitposts!

YEah, but it's death throes are going to cause a great deal of damage in the interim. Some people think this is just going to be a couple of years before the IdPol shit is discredited enough to be irrelevant. The brainwashing and vitriol of the SJW types says otherwise, I think, and 20 years from now, even if it is in the minority, it will still be causing endless senseless damage to people's lives, and is always in danger of a resurgence to guide (and destroy) Western freedoms and ideals of equality.

I don't think that it would be an overstatement to say there are somewhere in the 5 to 30 million true believers in the US alone, immune to any intellectual realization, and coasting for the rest of their lives off a bitter, sadistic impulse where the only real meaning they have is a sort of power-eroticism to stamp on a human face forever. Probably the majority of them would just devolve to petty vindictiveness out of self-preservation... spitting in your food, pushing old ladies over in a parking lot, sideline cheerleading if some little white boy gets molested and killed by a POC and the like, but that hatred of man, and that orthodoxy to divide people into racial, sexual, and ideological groups to be liquidated, dismissed or vilified, just like the Bolsheviks, the National Socialists, the Khmer etc... is a powerful force, and they are so unreflective, they cannot see that it is they who are a thriving ecosystem of that kind of sadism and dehumanization. Utterly indocrinated into a cult in a world where the technique of brainwashing has become largely successful, and there are easy ways for it to never be challenged in their personal lives.

Then again. There are guys like David Horowitz or even myself, so far into that, that although it took decades, once the realization of what it was came, there can be no going back.
