Just got home and checked this. At this point I’m convinced that Phil could go on stream, whack one off and say “n!gger faggot shitdick” and Twitch wouldn’t do anything. This luck is INSANE. Might as well role those dice, Phillip.

To all the people on the DSP subreddit and elsewhere, “upset” that Phil had his debt discharged, please stop. I’m so sick of these people wanting Phil to fail, some actually want him to be homeless and suffering, and then be upset when he pulls through (as they should have expected based on his history). He’s still a silly fuck up and scummy person, you can still laugh at the guy, as you should have from the beginning.

If anything this saga just got juicier :optimistic:

The timer starts with the original filing, not the discharge. So January 31, 2028.

So no matter how things end for anyone who does that, it's the same wait? That seems an unwise way to legislate things...

And as for his lack of assets, that's what puzzles me. If he doesn't have shit to sell, why is this still an asset case?

It's hilarious to me that for months and months people were saying everything from "DSP is gonna go to jail for lying on his bankruptcy forms!" to "GOODBYE WAHKANDO!" without ever considering he would just skate on through like he always does.

Those :optimistic: are looking pretty good now, aren't they? Get used to it, because he'll find a way out of the condo debts and shit too and you can either laugh at him, or you can be a salty bitch. Me, I choose to keep laughing, because his life is still a fucking joke.

Nancy probably couldn't believe he made 6 figures and had nothing to show for it either

This is why we need to be patient. This bankruptcy process is far from done yet. I know, I was pissed and Mad On The Internet when I first saw the update myself.

Nancy is no longer mah girl, though.

Idk if any of King Phil's haters need this but heres the suicide prevention hotlines phone number.

Lifes worth it you dont need to off your self because an idiot streamer got to successfully declare bankruptcy.
I mean, I'm not gonna lie, I'm a bit salty. What a sucker I was for going to college and getting a job when I could have been racking up debts and just not paying them.

But if anybody is seriously thinking about killing themselves over this, we should probably just step aside and let Darwin do his job,

Re-listening to the differences, pros and cons between a chapter 7 vs 13 (because I can't remember everything). Guy I'm listening to is going over the worst aspect of Chapter 7 - forced liquidation of assets. IDK how it works, but is there any possibility his shit might be liquidated? It was swapped to an asset case iirc.

Also, there is the public record aspect. This will never go away, especially for someone with Phil's profile. He will forever be known as that pathetic loser who maxed out how many credit cards and had to declare Chapter 7 at 38 because he sucks at finance and got addicted to a sweaty wrestler version of candy crush.

Why is there so much A-Logging in this thread?
Lesser minds melt down when faced with a true Chad who can do whatever he wants and get away with it. The only part I'm unhappy about is DSP only deleting a few hundred thousand dollars of debt. I hope he thinks big and takes a few banks with him 2008 style as his next feat of strength

It was converted to an asset case after the 341, so it's possible, but I wouldn't count on it.

It's still possible something amusing happens in the liquidation, but I'm kind of numb and not expecting anything. Anything not involving losing the WAkondo is still a huge win for Phil. Maybe they sell off some shitty collectibles nobody gives a shit about. When they do that, probably autistic A-Logs and paypigs bid them up to some ridiculous level.

Sometimes the a-loggers and detractors are where alot of the fun comes from. DSP is just one giant planet, his gravitational pull drags in all the autists, from detractors to supporters.

Honestly, the worst thing about this is that DSP will just revert to the boring nothing that was going on since summer of last year.

I assumed she was going to dig, find where it went, and tell him to piss off. Guess not...

I'm not holding my breath that the Wakhando is on the chopping block, but if it is, that would certainly explain this decision.

DSP is an autistic god. He wasted 40k gambling with zero repercussions. Phil will come out of this with zero lessons learned and more egotistical and vile than ever. Remember, he still has to face midfirst bank so there that 50k he owes.

Pretty sure that any deficiency is unsecured debt that is discharged. He listed it in his declaration, and the lawsuit was already ongoing.

I may be rainbow, but I don't think today has any effect on if Phil loses his condo or not. Phil won avoiding to pay a lot of his credit card debt, which he really has many times over in interest because he's an idiot that only pays his minimums.

Since it's an asset case, Nancy can still take the condo. She'll basically have to if she wants anything of value, like you say.
