Reddit is dumb. They wrong. If it gets dismissed you'll see it in the bankruptcy thread here.
Sorry about that! I’ll check that thread. Thank you!

Hey. Someone posted about the same Reddit rumour on Thursday. Apparently a "lawyer in training" misunderstood what the deadline after the Creditor's Meeting meant... or something. The articles he was confused about are posted here. (The OP in that thread's kept well up-to-date if yer look'n for a summary of everything that's happened 🤓)
Sweet will check it out. Thanks for helping out a new detractor!

Is anyone watching the last thirty minutes or so of his Animal Crossing stream tonight? Things are getting really meta. A few minutes ago he just said, without one hint of irony,..

I'm sure Tainticker or Stickybutthole isn't going to be doxed as "Jeffery Jackson" unless they use that name for everything. It is pretty dumb either-way because Phil still gets your personal info either way, regardless if you don't attach your personal Twitter username. Most of them like Superblindman get off to the fact that the chat is saying "Woah! Did you see that? THE superblindman from the chat and his personal Twitch channel is tipping Phil 35 dollars!" If his viewers use a fake-name then they don't get that recognition from the rest of the chat and then they have to use that name over and over no matter how stupid it is. For him to complain about people using different name is hilarious because he stresses every pre-stream by saying "PLEASE don't use your real name cause there is a lot of evil and malicious people out there"

It is pretty stupid he keeps up this facade that he gives a shit about his fans and their personal information being leaked because you know he would throw them under a bus or post all the troll tippers dox in a heart beat if he could.
Quite frankly if Phil wants to encourage his supporters to make it easier for them to be doxed, then more power to him.
Phil claims Best Buy fraudulently fired him and this was affirmed by a court. They should sue DSP for defamation.

Only Phil could be so ass-chapped over an imagined sleight as to pretend to be wounded by a retail shitshow like Best Buy letting him go for any reason.

Imagine mid 20's Phil working at best buy, sacked ostensibly for using his employee discount to buy gaming consoles (they probably just didn't like him and wanted him gone, and the idiot employee discount gave them the best leverage to pull the trigger) then has to go to court to prove he is entitled to unemployment benefits.

Are there any photos of mid 20's Phil in his best buy uniform?

I don't think theres a single photo of him from before 2003. Even then from 2003 to 2008 theres only like 4 pictures.

That would be some really deep DSP lore. We only have glimpses, stories retold by DSP himself who is not a reliable source such as the wolverine figure.

I think we need more colour to the origin story, particularly if the bankruptcy saga is the crescendo and final arc.

If this wolverine guy wanted to be a true troll his name would be TherewasneveraspecialfirsteditionWolverine cause there wasn't and Phils a moron for believing it and a fucking liar troll out to get a reaction that could be used against himself for saying otherwise.

Don’t you think that if any of his “fans” actually cared about his well-being, they would stop tipping him to force him to finally get a job? We all know that he will NEVER get a job unless he is absolutely forced to. I know he always uses the excuse that he’d never make as much money as he does streaming but it’s so obvious that he’s miserable because of the scrutiny that comes with streaming many hours every day (while also being an incredible piece of shit). If he got a job, nearly all of his trolling would stop almost instantly. Isn’t that worth making a little less money?

To be fair, there are no jobs he can currently get that would ever provide him with the amount of money he’s making now. If he’s taking home net around $10,000 - $12,000, that’s the equivalent of a $200,000 job in CA if he were filing his taxes as Single/ Head of Household.

This is a man who hasn’t had a job in 11 years, has no actionable skills, had his name raked in mud for the last 8-7 years, and has clearly demonstrated he cannot work as part of a team or take direction from someone who’d be supervising him.

Phil has no long-term future. I can’t see him surviving past 2025-2026.

What employer wouldn't be lucky to hire Phil "Showering More Than Twice a Week is Unhealthy" Burnell?

Yeah that’s a great point. I guess I assumed that someone would hire him eventually. I mean even felons can get jobs (with government support I think). I just figured that even if he was making less money, he would overall be happier without being trolled. Of course that’s contingent upon him getting hired, which is would be difficult given that he has no skills and shit work ethic. It’s just a thought I had

Funniest thing is that he could STILL get out of this situation ahead and be in a good situation for the future but he's too prideful and stupid to do so. He is willing to suffer paying massive debts and generally high costs just to be in his condo that he feels secure in because it has a gate and a passcode.

TW;DW (Too whiney; didn't watch):
  • Phil got hired at Best Buy because of his college degree and his "expertise in electronics" ( ), to work in a new department called 'Best Buy for Business'.
  • Their job was to target small businesses and try to sell them a bunch of computer crap (basically selling magazine subscriptions except with pre-built computers)
  • Phil says Best Buy spent too much money on launching this nationwide initiative, and also "corrupt" employees would cut out the middle-man and started their own small businesses doing networking by cultivating their client list from the contacts they made selling computer crap to people. (This is called 'building a social network' Phil. I know you're more used to the demolition side of social networking so I can see why you thought they were "corrupt")
  • People on the Business Teams got paid more than anyone in the store besides Management and the program wasn't making enough money.
  • Phil says Best Buy, instead of doing the "right thing" and making everyone on these failing teams store managers, tried to find ways to fire and layoff the Business Teams (sounds like this was just Phil's location because of how useless they were, rather than a national directive like Phil presents it)
  • Phil says Best Buy "illegally framed me to get me off the payroll", "this national chain mind you!" (It was a company wide conspiracy to personally fuck over Phil, it certainly wasn't management at his location taking an easy opportunity to rid themselves of a useless dumbfuck)
  • Phil was running an FGC tournament and he needed 2 PlayStation 2's so he bought them at his store.
  • The dumbfuck cashier just automatically gave Phil his discount.
  • The employee discout on equipment was for 'personal use only'.
  • Phil says, "These WERE for my own personal use, the fact that I was using them for a tournament was besides the fact" (No, Phil. It was "fact" that the only reason you bought them was to run a tournament and you used your discount. All you had to do was tell the clerk "Don't give me my discount on these, they aren't for me.")
  • Phil getting the consoles "at cost" meant he saved 40¢ apiece on them.
  • They noticed Phil had bought a total of 3 PlayStation 2's with his store discount and fired him for abusing his discount.
  • Phil says he filed for unemployment and Best Buy tried to deny him, and then the judge laughed at Best Buy and made them give Phil unemployment (and then everyone stood up and clapped right Phil?)
  • Phil concludes, "Corporations treat people like tools-like shit and step on them (why does this sound familiar? It's like I know someone who acts exactly like that or something. . .)
  • Phil was on unemployment until a few months later when daddy Dave got his retardo son a receptionist gig at his workplace.
