Privilege is a one-dimensional universal constant. For any two people, the one who has privilege over the other has it better in every single way, and the second person has it worse in every single way. The circumstances are irrelevant. A white man starving to death on the streets in the middle of winter has privilege over Michelle Obama. Because of this, when privileged people claim to suffer, it magically doesn't count.

Isn't making sexual content and references towards child-oriented media and videogames just straight up grooming?
Imagine a kid going on the internet and finding out that Elsa is trans and nintendo puppy supports MAP rights.
I used to read horror stories about kids being exposed to sex through My Little Pony fandom "content".
Like how you had people in #notjustadrawing going to places that weren't intended to children and complained they were exposed to adult content, the same people are now spreading this "wholesome" content to all the kids.

You should go scroll through the twitter timeline of James Linsday, because he sort of functions as an amalgamation point for the crazy "Critical Theory" activists. At least, he will, until he finally completely loses his mind, staring into the abyss.
He's also one of the 3 academics that was involved in the recent "Sokal Squared Hoax" with Helen Pluckrose and Peter Bogohossian, where they wrote completely lunatic shit, submitted to peer review, and still got it published, because it used the correct format, and the proper lingo. He's also been compiling a "Social Justice Dictionary", which explains what their lingo is supposed to mean, and how they using that lingo for their Motte & Bailey bullshit.
At any rate, Wu Flu has intersectionalists and Critical Race Theorists and just general SJW assholes are all over social media screeching about "health equity", how women are more affected (because women are the majority of doctors and nurses, now), how if the greater affect on men really means that non-white men are most affected, and how "white men are the greater risk of transmission for COVID-19!"
I'd bet there's enough of it that it would warrant a separate thread, if I had the patience to collect just what's on his timeline.

That top post sums up most modern fanfiction and fandoms; half the time, they don’t even like they shows they wrote for, they just take one or two things they like and then twist the rest to fit their own tastes. Say what you will about older fanfiction, at least you got the feeling the fans liked the shows they wrote about.
As for the second post...what does the author think the optimal depiction of a minority should be?

Y'all ree your heads off if a character doesn't act "black enough", "gay enough", etc. whatever the hell that even means. You demand caricatures and get pissed if the characters aren't mary sue stereotypes that can do no wrong.

It gets worse. You wouldn't think it, but it does. Because (though Lindsay desperately wants it to be a hoax) it appears that one of the papers has someone arguing that, because they believe in the points of one of their fake articles about fat studies even though it was intended as a parody, it should be kept as an actual paper.
This man, Geoff C. Cole, thinks that because people believed the paper and he agrees with it, it doesn't matter that it was all bullshit, it should be re-accepted anyway. I have to agree - I hope it's a hoax. Because otherwise it truly shows that some people in academia are beyond parody.

Meanwhile, some Hamptons royalty is getting their thick as pigshit offspring into a fancy college by paying for a new library or having a word in the right ear, and the old boy network is in full swing.
Such a blinkered view to think privilege at that level is just money, rather than knowing the right people. So much of this shit reads like poorly done divide and conquer propaganda to keep the proles squabbling with each other rather than wondering why the same people have owned most of the Uk since 1066 ...
Oh that is an absolute classic, I would hazard a guess that what the paper of much BS and fiction contains is important for Mr Geoff B E Cole to have in the published canon. He will be going along the line that 6 months or a year down the line its imaginary piss take origins will be forgotten and will work as a good reference point for further reeeeesearch of the feels over reality nature.

E.g. - see every clickbait article ever written about "White men/straight men/gamers/insert hated demographic here hate this thing, because they're regressive scum and literally the most evil thing ever!", when the reality is either Fairly Angry Gamer is flailing like the exceptional closet faggot that he is, or some chan board made 3 posts about a troll op.
I am inclined to agree, though have a predisposition to see ulterior motives in a lot of these lunatic articles and propositions. As an example the millionaire black woman is always worse off than any white man even if he is dirt poor and how her kids will be disadvantaged compared to white working class boys. Get this idea into the mainstream and there are calls to stop any affirmative action or investigation as to where education fails them, less competition for the middle class private educated classes. In some insane cases leg up grants will be given to a private (fee paying) school girl going onto uni because they are under privileged.
Here in the UK the biggest bleaters in the press about how they are subjected to great hardship due to being women or black etc are virtually all ex pupils of top fee paying schools and got into Oxford or Cambridge mostly due to that old school tie, they are the very privileged kids in some cases their parents were paying a very good professional's salary for their school fees. So part of me thinks that they want to keep as many down as they can by way of saying they are the ones who suffer.
They go ballistic about those who question their evidence and conclusions especially as they do not want someone listening to an MRA talking about an education system that favours girls as the UK changes to exam/coursework percentage showed this to have some truth to it* or raising male DV victims or male genital mutilation, it kills off the narrative of perpetual victimhood and can bring about greater competition for their off spring.
When the first revamped A levels and then GCSE results came through after a greater emphasis on exams had been put back in place in many subjects for the first time in years boys achieved parity or in the harder sciences started to outstrip girls results. There were as would be expected articles from the usual places decrying the new sexist course structures that tested long term understanding of a subject over comment and forget.
